Hello all my wonderful clients ❤️ just a little life update. Being a very business driven lady in her late teens, 20s and 30s I always prioritised my little business, I’ve always been a grafter. I’m so used to working 60+ hour weeks and juggling hundreds of clients. Having to turn people away cause I can’t fit them in, Being fully booked 3 months in advance, every month of the year, inbox full to the brim 24:7- total fu***ng qstress head.

But this year, 2 weeks before Christmas my work life is very different. Although still very busy - Having my little boy and having a very unlucky postpartum health experience, has forced me to just slow down. Although I feel sad I’ve lost alot of clients from taking this “break” , I feel like this needed to happen to me to realise that we don’t just live to work🫶🏽❤️

I really miss you all and I understand it’s not so easy to book in with me these days. I’m not working silly hours and bending over backwards for people anymore, because I simply just have something more important to do now 🥹🫶🏽 I will no doubt be back working more next year some time some time when my baby’s bigger but right now I’m taking the time to enjoy being a mum.

My working days will remain the same for next year until I’m ready for it to change.
Tuesday - 4:30pm onwards
Wednesday - 9am - 5pm
Friday - 10am - 5pm

If you need an appointment for January or Feb please book now m, there is still some space as I have just recently opened next years diary. If you missed out for Christmas please give me your dates ASAP🤎

I see my clients as my friends and I value you all so much, so Thankyou to the ones who have continuously checked in on me and my boy. The gifts, the tips, the pennies for ozzys banky 🥹 Thankyou for the ones who have been persistent and stayed with me regardless of the situation. It means the world to me 🤎

Hi everyone 🤎

Just a wee update, I’m officially a mom 🥹 my beautiful healthy wee boy Ozzy has flipped my world upside down, in the most wonderful way.

A week after ozzy was born, I was back in the hospital with a blood clot in my lung, but I am on the mend now, slowly recovering. I really can’t wait to see you all again soon and I will definitely be back doing bits and bobs once my little bubble pops in a few weeks time. I have a list of everyone to get in touch with and you will hear from me soon 🤎 thankyou for your patience and thankyou to for working around the clock, to fit in a wee bunch of my clients while I navigate my way through motherhood 🥹🫶🏽 speak to you all soon, much love ! This is so surreal, I write this as a tiny little human is rolling around inside my body😢 can’t believe it’s finally time to hang up the scissors for a few months. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for helping me through this entire experience. All the advice, the hugs, wiping my tears and all the amazing baby gifts.

I haven’t decided firmly on a date to come back to work yet but it will be around November time.
I will be in touch when I am ready.

If you cheat on me while I’m gone, it’s fine. just remember and tell your new side chick that she’s just a temporary solution😜 I’ll see you on the flip side 🤎

We’re having a baby boy 🩵🐻
The worlds worst kept secret 😂 I want to say a massive thankyou to all my clients for the unbelievable support the last 4 months.

I built a salon at home so that I could start a family with minimal financial stress. The salon was finally finished on the 3rd January, this was the exact day I found out I was pregnant. I opened the doors on the 6th, and since then my mental health has been at an all time low. Thankyou all for being understanding, thankyou for holding me together on my bad days 🥹💙 this wouldn’t be possible without you all.

Being self employed in this industry is tough. Especially when it comes to needing time off work unpaid.
I will update you all with my maternity plans at your next appointments.

I’m not gona lie, I never wanted to be a hairdresser at school. It was actually the last thing on earth I wanted to do after hearing my mum constantly moan about her sare cheesy feet and sh*te wages. A lot has changed in the hair and beauty industry in the last 20 years. The game has changed and I can honestly say it’s one of the best industry’s to be in. Making people feel beautiful for a living really is a blessing. my whole life is about to change in a very short while and it’s just starting to sink in now. It’s still a working progress but…

You’ll all be happy to know I’m home from Mexico. Feeling refreshed and (almost) ready to take on the Christmas rush 🎅🏾

I just arrived home this afternoon and definitely need a few days to recover from the travelling so please bare with me 🫶🏽

I will be doing all mails on Monday as usual. Thankyou all so much for giving me the much needed space while I was on holiday. This job gets so heavy sometimes. Constantly trying to keep up with mails, texts and phonecalls is actually one of the hardest parts. It’s been absolute bliss being able to switch off completely 🫶🏽
