As someone who specializes in lymphatic care, these are the trends I will NOT be buying into.

🚫 Ice baths when I'm already exhausted.
Cold exposure is a stress signal to the body. If your nervous system is already overloaded, adding another shock isn't resilience, it's just more cortisol on top. Cold therapy works best on a calm, regulated body, not a wired one.
🚫 Detox teas
My body already has an incredible detox system built in, my liver, kidneys and lymphatics. They don't need a tea, they need water, movement and proper sleep.
🚫 Skipping meals and calling it discipline
Training hard on no breakfast and three coffees isn't wellness, it's stress on stress. Lymph flow slows right down when you're depleted. A nourished, hydrated, rested body is one that actually drains properly.
🚫 Icing my face for "sculpting"
Cold makes tissue contract. It might look tighter for an hour, but that's just constriction, not real drainage or sculpting.
🚫 Viral debloat drinks
Looking flatter isn't the goal, feeling genuinely well is. Most of these work by dehydrating you or forcing your gut to move, which is temporary and can actually damage your gut lining over time.
🚫 Aggressive gua sha tutorials
So much of what's trending is doing the opposite of what people think, trapping fluid instead of releasing it, pulling upward on a face that drains downward and using way more pressure than the tissue needs.
🚫 Chasing every new biohack instead of the basics
Red light, vibration plates, they have their place but they're not essential. Water. Sleep. Movement. Food. And keeping your flow supported, that's genuinely the whole game.

Let's stop overcomplicated it.
Once you understand how your own lymphatic system works, you stop chasing every trend and start supporting your body's natural flow instead 🀍

πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ Training has been a big part of my life for years the gym is where I feel grounded and present.
🌿 I love being outdoors, staying active and exploring new places mountains especially. When I travel I'm an exploring holiday person, not a city break one.
🦐 A huge seafood lover.
🩺 I have a medical degree and am a qualified midwife. Understanding the human body has always fascinated me.
✨ A bit of an introverted extrovert.I love meaningful conversation but I also love quiet time to recharge.
πŸ›‹οΈ I'm definitely more of a staying in person than a going out one. A cozy night with a good movie or people I love is my kind of weekend.

Above all I enjoy a simple, quiet life that aligns with my values. 🌿

That's me the person behind your treatments, beyond the therapy room.

We live in a world of consumerism where you can buy all the "stuff" you want but nothing compares to investing in your own health and wellness how you actually feel from the inside out.

Whatever brings you in ,whatever the reason it's worth knowing this isn't a one off appointment that transforms things overnight. It's a continuous investment in your health, supporting your lymphatic and nervous system over time so you can keep feeling your best from within.

Time to stop putting off the things that help you feel good all year round 🀍

Before & After Lymphatic Drainage massage

This client wanted extra focus on her abdominal area, so we spent additional time there while treating the body as a whole.

Using a combination of lymphatic drainage and Brazilian sculpting techniques we worked to encourage fluid movement toward the body's natural drainage pathways, helping reduce bloating and that heavy, sluggish feeling leaving client feeling lighter, less bloated and more comfortable πŸ’›

Talking with so many clients I've noticed hydration is one of those things that's easily forgotten until it becomes part of the daily habit.

Your lymphatic system doesn't work like your blood there's no pump doing the heavy lifting it relies on movement and fluid to flow.

When you're dehydrated that fluid gets thicker and more sluggish, making it harder for your body to drain naturally. And here's what surprises people: dehydration actually makes your body hold onto more fluid, not less. So staying hydrated genuinely helps you retain less.

It doesn't need to be drastic changes overnight that's usually where people give up. It's more about a gradual increase until it just becomes a normal part of your routine.

Your lymphatic system is working all day, every day so consistent things like hydration and movement really makes a difference in supporting your lymphatic flow and how well your lymphatic drainage sessions work.
