Suzi Salt Hairdressing

After my hairdressing business was burnt out in 1996, I went to the USA and fell in love with the Speciality Coffee Industry, I then went part-time in my hairdressing and explored the coffee industry, which eventually led to working as a Barista Trainer and Judge at the Irish Barista Championships in Dublin Ireland in 2010 and 2011. Then after an assault on my life left me battling depression, I started sewing making handbags etc from Coffee Sacks, this led to me having so many handbags and accessories I started to do exhibitions of my work. Then a coat I made from coffee sacks went on to be in the Finals of the London Coffee Art Project, at the London Coffee Art Festival. It was exhibited in both Brick Lane, London and the Milan Coffee Festival, Italy. After that it came back to the London Coffee Ball and was auctioned off to raise funds for a Water Aid Project in Africa. Thank you to all who have supported me I’m my business journey in life. Unfortunately in the last 7 years I have had major issues with my back, at times unable to put on my own socks and shoes for over a year, due to this I only work part-time now, by appointment only....
