✨ Not all facial hair is the same — and knowing the difference matters.
Vellus hair is the fine, soft “peach fuzz” found across most of the face. This is the hair typically removed with dermaplaning, leaving the skin feeling smoother and looking brighter.
Terminal hair is thicker, darker and more coarse — commonly found around the upper lip, chin and jawline. This type of hair may require a different approach depending on the client and their skin.
Dermaplaning doesn’t make hair grow back thicker or darker. It simply cuts the hair at the surface, so regrowth can sometimes feel different initially.
🤍 This is why practitioner knowledge is so important. Understanding hair type, skin condition and the appropriate treatment allows us to choose the safest and most effective approach — whether that’s dermaplaning, microneedling or another treatment.
It’s not one treatment fits all — it’s about understanding YOUR skin. ✨

B12 plays an important role in your nervous system, energy levels and overall health. Deficiency can cause symptoms that shouldn’t be overlooked.
B12 can become low through low dietary intake, reduced absorption or certain medications.

Those more at risk include vegans/vegetarians, people who have had bariatric or stomach surgery, those with gut conditions such as coeliac disease, people with pernicious anaemia, and those taking certain medications long-term such as metformin.
