One whole year of Cilio Skin & Aesthetics 🤍

Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put into words what this little business means to me. What started as an idea, a dream and a lot of “I’ll just see where it goes” has somehow turned into something I am so incredibly proud to call mine.

A year ago, I took that scary first step and opened Cilio. I had no idea what the next 12 months would bring. I just knew I wanted to create somewhere that felt different, somewhere that combined my medical background with my passion for aesthetics and skin, whilst making every client feel comfortable, listened to and completely in safe hands. ✨

Since then, Cilio has grown in ways I could never have imagined.

From my very first appointment, to watching my diary slowly fill, meeting so many amazing women, seeing returning clients become regulars, receiving recommendations from friends and family, watching my reels reach thousands of people and seeing Cilio become a little name that people actually recognise… every single part of it means more than you know.

There have been HUGE highs, plenty of learning curves, moments where I’ve questioned myself, and plenty of juggling behind the scenes, all whilst working full-time as a paramedic and being a mammy. 🤍

But every late night, every bit of admin, every training day, every treatment, every post, every order and every “what am I doing?” moment has been worth it.

I’m especially proud that Cilio has never been about chasing unrealistic results. My whole ethos has always been enhancing what you already have, protecting your natural features and helping you feel like the best version of yourself. Whether that’s a subtle lip enhancement, skin treatment, facial balancing or simply taking an hour for yourself, I want you to leave Cilio feeling confident, cared for and still completely YOU. 🖤

And then there’s the people.

Every single person who has booked with me, trusted me with their face and skin, recommended me, shared my posts, left me a review, sent a friend, liked a reel, replied to a story or simply cheered me on from the sidelines…

I’m also so grateful for the amazing people and businesses who have supported me along the way, and especially for finding my little Cilio home within Dream Dolls. What started as a business has become a community, and the girls around me have made this journey even more special. 🤍

One year ago, Cilio was just a vision.

Today, it’s a real business, a real brand, a real community and something I’m incredibly excited to keep building.

Being part of Dream Dolls has been such a huge part of my journey with Cilio 🤍

When I first joined the salon, they gave me the opportunity and the space to progress my business, grow in confidence and turn my little vision into something I’m genuinely so proud of.

But it’s not just the salon itself, it’s the girls. 🥹🤍 They’ve become like sisters to me. We support each other, celebrate each other’s wins, have a laugh (and sometimes a little chaos 😂), and I honestly couldn’t imagine my journey without them.

So when the Glamour Awards nominations opened, I couldn’t not nominate Dream Dolls for Best Salon Team. I knew they deserved to be recognised for the incredible team they are.

Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Sarah Elizabeth footballer from Middlesbourgh Women into Cilio 🤍⚽️
