As you may have heard in different ways and times, the human body has been subject, specially after the Industrial Revolution, to multiple aggressive factors. When we think of the cumulative effect of all those toxics, we start having an idea of the toxic load this represents to the Immune System, resulting in a reduced ability to not only be able to get rid of those, but also to get rid of pathogens, such as bacteria, viruses and parasites - an ability so vital for the general HEALTH.

GLUTATHION ( as you can find in many scientific and medical documents and articles, after being researched and clinically tested for years) has been named as the Mother of all antioxidants. It is the major antioxidant component in the body, in the combat against the FREE RADICALS - very reactive particles which result from the different processes and reactions in the cells as well from radiation such as the solar radiation, which are inevitable , but which can be made inactive and thus nullified.

Thus, Glutathion has a fundamental role in all cells while being a powerful antioxidant. Additionally, it plays a key role in the active maintenance of other antioxidants such as Vitamines C and E, allowing them to be recycled and play their role. And this tells us, that without Glutathion the absorption of C and E vitamines and other antioxidants, is highly diminished.

GLUTHATHION, has also been known in the scientific and medical community, for its importance in the elimination of toxins, transportation of aminoacids, synthesis of proteins, protection against carcinogen substances and as it can be easily understood, in fighting ageing processes. And as I mentioned before, a key role in the synthesis of DNA and its repair.

Now, Glutathione and Cystein cannot be absorbed by the body, if taken in capsule type supplements for example, as they would be easily destroyed while passing through the digestive system and thus, before arriving to the cells.
