Date nights are great, but what if you just booked a weekend away instead?
A couple of days to switch off at a spa, wander through a new city, or escape to the countryside. Room service, time together and no need to rush home after dinner. Sometimes you just need a little more than an evening🤍
Make it a weekend to look forward to and book your next stay at a Macdonald hotel.
As the days get shorter and the nights get darker, consider this your reminder to make the most of the daylight you do have.
Go for the hike you’ve always wanted to. Take the scenic route and stop to take in the view. Wrap up warm and head outside, then come back to us for a spa treatment, a bite to eat, and some time to yourself. Make the last-minute plan, book the table, do the weekend away.
There’s still plenty of autumn to enjoy, and some of the best days are the ones you decide to make happen at the last minute.
So, don’t wait for brighter evenings or a better time. Get out there and make the most of this beautiful season. 🍂

Autumn is almost here, and Scotland is about to put on an incredible show 🍂
Soon, the landscape around Forest Hills Hotel & Resort will be glowing in shades of gold, amber and orange, with Loch Ard at the heart of it all.
If you’ve never seen this part of Scotland in Autumn, take this as your sign. The views are really something special this time of year.
We might be biased, but the ‘ber’ months have to be the best, right?!
