Hi All 🤍 Let me reintroduce myself…

My name is Kayt, I am 34 years old and I’m now in my 16th year in the beauty therapy industry. Saying that out loud is a lot!
•
I am very happily married almost 4 years to my husband Steven and we have two smashing kiddos together Florence’s (2.5Y) and Freddie (10 months) life it’s a bit busy and chaotic but we’re here for it.
•
I just returned to work in January after having Freddie and taking the whole experience day to day, getting my ducks in a row and blending all parts of life.
•
My career in Beauty truly started out in 2019 where I hopped on board Royal Caribbean Cruise Liners at just 19, and worked on board their 2 deck spa as a Spa Therapist. A year later I returned home and worked within an award winning salon at home with 10 amazing therapists, from here I learned so much from the ever growing beauty industry and was supported and encouraged to train in so many aspects of the industry, including Brow design, IPL and medical skincare.

My career took a very unexpected turn when I was offered a job on board the second largest superyacht in the world, to which I tended to the owner and his family in the spa. It was here I had the luxury of brushing shoulders and massaging shoulders of his high profile guests and once again was able to travel, which is on par with my beauty obsession.
After a year and a half, I packed up my life at sea and returned home to begin working for myself.

I started out in a small room in a salon within a hairdressers in East Kilbride, growing my clientele and maintaining the ethos of one to one beauty with my clients. I have continued with this to where I am now in my salon at home. We converted our double garage during lockdown (as it turned out) into a gorgeous hub for my clients to retreat!
•
And that’s it! Part time for the time being, the cogs in my brain are already churning into the new and innovative ideas I’d like to channel into the business in time. For now I’m back to beauty, relishing the opportunity to have time with my family whilst they are little, and quietly working on my future goals. I truly hope appreciate you coming along with me on the ride.
