We at CoffeeConverters are happy to see that other companies are also aware of the importance of a good skin routine 💆🏼 Let's spread our knowledge together because information is key! 🤎
Story time!💚🤍Part 1.
Did you know that everything that we apply on our skin absorbs into our bodies? If not, then this will be interesting to you.
Skin is the largest organ and requires a good care like any other part of your body. Ingredients such as ‼️parabens, phthalates, sulphates, silicone, polyethylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfates (SLS)➡️commonly used in bath bombs that claim to be natural but they are not ‼️, synthetic colours, fragrance oils and more.
Avoid these toxic ingredients if you want to protect yourself and your family from terrible health issues.
Education is a key to your good health. In my next story I will tell you more about the bath bomb ingredients. Stay tuned!💚
Natural skin care products is a must for all of us!

The last four weeks have been overwhelming for all of us. We have given many different updates since 24 October and want to give a clear overview of everything that happened. That is why we have decided to give a press conference on Friday 26 November at 11.30 am. 🤎
ℹ️ You can watch our press conference live on BBC One Scotland. After Friday, the press conference will remain available on the BBC website.
In the meantime, our hotline is still available for anyone who has questions concerning our products. 📞
Since two people had an allergic reaction to one of our products, we would like to raise awareness about this topic. Click the link down below for more information about what to do when a negative reaction to the skin occurs. We are well aware that each skin is different and should be treated as such. Information is key!🤎

We would like to announce that CoffeeConverters has officially obtained the Union for Ethical Biotrade label. ✅
This label allows us to double check the ethical sourcing of our coffee grounds shipments.
As the investigations concerning our body scrub indicated that the bacterium entered the production process via a contaminated batch of coffee grounds, we wanted to obtain this label as an extra verification step before our shipments enter the production process. 🤎
For more information about this label, please consult the following website:
Ethical sourcing label (UEBT) | Ecocert This labeling makes it possible to verify the ethical sourcing of biodiversity ingredients. Showcase your ethical practices thanks to Ecocert, 30-year experience in auditing and certification.

Discover our plan of action below ⬇️
After careful review of the NHA’s laboratory tests, the CoffeeConverters team decided to implement a wide variety of security measures to account for possible bacteria in all future CoffeeConverters products. The flowchart provides a clear overview of the security measures implemented: 🧪
- For every shipment of coffee grounds, an additional test will be performed to screen the coffee grounds for 20 common bacteria that might occur in coffee.
Every contaminated shipment will be removed before the production process.
- A second laboratory test will be performed on all batches of finished CoffeeConverters products, to locate any bacteria that might not have been detected earlier.
- During the packaging process, our existing, general inspection will be expanded with further safety measures, such as mandatory masks and gloves for all staff.
- Lastly, as a company, we want to raise awareness about the possible risks that cosmetics may entail. We are committed to spreading information that might help people who experience an adverse reaction to a cosmetic product.
After a year, CoffeeConverters will assess these measures and take further measures if necessary. We have great faith that these steps will make our products safer, while maintaining our high quality and affordable prices. We want to thank you for your patience and trust. 🤎

❗❗ UPDATE ❗❗
We have received conclusive lab results from the National Health Agency: the tests indicated that an uncommon bacterium entered the production process of our CoffeeConverters’ body scrub via a contaminated coffee grounds shipment. Further analysis of the bacterium showed that in some cases it can be harmful to young children and elderly people. This is also what happened in our particular case with the grandmother and grandchild. Although this incident was an extremely rare case, we would like to sincerely apologize for what happened.
We are currently still processing all the information from the investigations. We will consult with our production manager to investigate together what measures we can implement to prevent this situation from happening in the future. As soon as we conclude these meetings, we will provide a clear overview of the safety measures and procedures that will come into effect. ✔️
Most importantly, we want to thank you for your patience. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us on any of our social media channels. 💬🤎
