Best buy for skin: Muslin cloths. I have been using them for years to effectively remove make up and thoroughly cleanse the skin. They also act as a great gentle exfoliator. Wash it every day or keep a few on the go using a fresh one daily. My favourites are by Eve Lom. A little pricey to start but the cotton quality is very good and they last and last.

Tomatoes come out tops for skin.... Recent research by British Society for investigative dermatology showed that lycopene found in tomatoes (fresh and tinned) helps protect your skin from damage caused by UV light! Bloody Mary anyone?

In the words of Billy Idol it's Hot in the City tonight....So I use Jurlique's AMAZING rosewater balancing mist to spritz on my face to hydrate and freshen. It's infused with rose and marshmallow (a sweet treat for your skin) to boost your skin's tone and quench Its thirst after a day in the sun. Great in an office too. The bottle is glass so it tends to remains cool in your pedestal drawer. Just gently shake and mist over your face. Also great to set your make up too! I guess you could say with this product everything's coming up roses..

SUMMER HOLIDAY IN A BOTTLE... Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess perfume with its amazing coconut fragrance evokes lounging in the heat on sandy beaches and balmy nights in sun-drenched exotic locations. The dry body oil is amazing too and is great to not only layer the scent but also nourish the skin post sun - or so I found on our three days of Summer last month! Take it on holidays and when you get home every time you wear it, you will instantly be reminded of your hols and transported from TESCO back to TAHITI!

Top summer holiday tip: to keep your skin super hydrated on your summer holiday flight and after sun exposure take a moisturiser that's got oodles of hyaluronic acid ( a magnet for moisture that's already present in you skin's own cells) so the only thing dry is your martini!

Chantecaille's lip chic in "camellia" is what I call the perfect "nuptial n**e" and is a must in my kit for the perfect natural bridal look. This subtle n**e pink is super hydrating (perfect for all the kisses and constant smiling on the day!), and gives a gorgeous gloss to the lips. It's sophisticated superior packaging also adds a touch of elegance to your bridal purse. What's not to love?

Hope in the mailbox...just received delivery of my all time favourite eye cream Revive moisturising renewal eye cream. It is a fab product that helps cell renewal around the delicate eye area and gives lashings of hydration. Its pricey but when you think how long you will be staring at those peeps, its worth every penny - Love it!

BB CREAM - "What is it?" a few folk have asked me so - BB stands for Blemish Balm. They even out your complexion while also brightening and moisturising your skin. You can wear them as a lighter version of a tinted moisturiser or apply as a base for your make up. I quite like Shu Uemura's UV BB mousse as a base.

Got a little sunburn today? Have a cool shower and afterwards apply lots of moisturiser to rehydrate your skin. Put your moisturiser in the fridge for a while to get it nice and cool.
