• Avoid touching or pressing the nose for 24 hours
• Avoid wearing glasses or sunglasses resting on the bridge of the nose for 1–2 weeks if possible
• Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours
• Avoid alcohol and excessive heat for 24 hours
• Do not massage the area unless advised
• Contact your practitioner if you notice severe pain, skin colour change, or blanching
