🌊 NATIONAL OCEANS DAY 🌊

Happy National Oceans day to you all! Did you know we work with Green Salon Collective to help look after our precious oceans?

First of all they take all our waste and recycle it to stop the land fill which ends up in our oceans.

Secondly…. have you ever wondered what happens to your hair that’s cut?
Well, we collect it all and send it away to be made into ‘hair booms’ which are used to soak up oil from the Ocean. Hair is the only thing that can soak up oil from water and this is how Green Salon Collective came up with this amazing idea!

💕 GREY BLENDING 💕

Have you ever seen grey blending? This work was done by our creative Stylist Chloe, she removed the old blonde by bleaching and adding a lowlight to match the natural ‘pepper’ in the hair. Then it was toned to match the natural ‘salt’. This came out stunning 💖

TEAM TRAINING DAY WITH AIMEE 😇

Aimee had done a training day with us doing wet balayage.

Wet balayage is a different technique to do a balayage for clients who want a more softer transition between dark and light. The bleach is applied on damp hair which gives more of a lived in look and a softer grow out for the client.

By it being applied on damp hair it is less damaging but also not for evey type of hair as everyone's hair is different.

This is a really fun way to do a balayage and we had a lot of fun with it as you can do lodes if different tones and colours for the end result.
