Understanding Lymphatic Drainage: Why Proper Sequence Matter
Your lymphatic system is vital for detoxifying your body, maintaining fluid balance, and supporting your immune system. Surprisingly, around 75% of your lymphatic fluid drains from the left side of your body, specifically through the thoracic duct. This major duct collects lymph from the lower body, left arm, and left side of the head and neck, funneling it back into your bloodstream.
The right lymphatic duct handles the remaining 25%, draining the right arm, right side of the chest, and right side of the head and neck.
By following the correct sequence to ensure that the ducts are clear, allowing the lymph to flow efficiently and prevent blockages.

The Science Behind Tanning: How Your Skin Reacts to the Sun!
With us finally having a few days of Sun here is what is happening behind that golden glow! ☀️
UV Exposure
When you bask in the sun, your skin is exposed to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, primarily UVA and UVB rays. While UVB is more intense and causes sunburn, UVA penetrates deeper into the skin, leading to tanning.
Melanin Production
Your skin cells produce melanin, a pigment that gives your skin its colour, to protect against UV damage. UV exposure stimulates melanocytes, the cells responsible for melanin production, to produce more pigment.
Tan
As melanin increases, it absorbs UV radiation and dissipates it as heat, preventing damage to your skin’s DNA. The increased melanin causes your skin to darken, giving you a tan.
Natural Defence
This tan is your body’s natural defense mechanism against further UV damage. However, it only offers limited protection—roughly equivalent to SPF 3, much lower than recommended sunscreen levels.
Long-Term Effects
While a tan might look nice, frequent UV exposure accelerates skin aging, causing wrinkles, age spots, and can increase the risk of skin cancer.

Always protect your skin with sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure to maintain healthy skin!
