Meadows Festival Edinburgh Established in 1974 the Meadows Festival is a community gala weekend for the City of Edinburgh. The Meadows festival is operated by Meadows Festival Edinburgh, a SCIO charity number: SC051609.

Update!!
I've been to get my results and they have found cancerous cells. So I'll definitely be having to take some time off soon. The doctors have a plan in place, so I'll be back to normal ASAP.
I have to have an operation, but that won't be until I'm back from holiday in July.

Right folks!!! I've had a wee day off today, to attend an appointment at the Breast screening clinic. I've had a couple of biopsies done and get the results in a week or 2. I'll have to take a couple of days off here and there for obvious reasons, but I'll keep you all in the loop.

We've begun the recruitment process for a number of exciting Fringe 2026 vacancies:

1. Lighting & Sound Technicians
- Work across one of the festival’s busiest venues operating live shows, sound, lighting, filming and live streaming for some of the biggest acts at the Fringe. A great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in live production, recording and festival tech.

2. Show Runners
- You'll be involved in ticketing, supporting performers, managing audiences, and ensuring shows run on time. A huge opportunity for people who want to play a key part in the biggest arts festival in the world.

3. Bar Staff
- A fast-paced role in the "beating heart" of the Fringe, serving drinks and keeping the venue running smoothly.
