We have moved from our salon in Bruntsfield to our new amazing clinic just off Lothian Road.

The new address is 1-2 Exchange Crescent, EH3 8RA.

Parking: there is a car park downstairs, the Q park which is reachable by Western Approach Road. It’s paid parking, £4.90 per hour.
Public transport: loads of buses stop on Lothian Road and from there it’s a 3 minute walk.

Walk from Lothian Road towards the Sheraton hotel. Go to the right of the hotel, past All Bar One. Keep walking round towards the Edinburgh International Conference Centre and you’ll see us on the right hand side right next to Pure Gym ☺️

I think one of the biggest problems of training within the PMU industry is that after a short course you should somehow walk away feeling like a confident permanent makeup artist.

Realistically, how could you?

You’re learning a completely new skill involving skin, needles, machines, pigments, design AND a huge amount of hand control — all at once.

Those first few days matter. They give you the knowledge and foundations you need to start practising safely.

But they’re exactly that: the starting point.

The confidence comes afterwards.

It comes from repetition, building muscle memory, working on different types of skin, seeing how your work heals and slowly learning how to adapt when things don’t go exactly to plan.

I don’t think the answer is pretending we can squeeze more and more into a 4-day course.

I think it’s giving artists better support for what happens after those 4 days.

Because getting your certificate isn’t the end of your training.
