Formerly a nurse, I have worked for 25 years in the NHS where I gained a reputation for commitment to quality of care and professionalism. I completed my Diploma in Therapeutic Massage in 1991 at The Glasgow School of Holistic Medicine whilst working as a nurse in Edinburgh. I subsequently held a number of nursing posts in general and cardiovascular critical care and haematology and I have also worked in Germany, Finland and The Middle East. During these years I integrated massage treatments into my nursing care. After completing my Masters Program at Lancaster University and achieving my ambitions within the NHS to work in London at an executive level, I decided in 2011 to return to Edinburgh and to therapeutic massage and body work where I could help people 'hands on' within a complimentary therapy environment.
