Wondering why lashes don't last forever? 👇
Let's break it down in simple terms. Our lashes go through a 3 step growth cycle: Anagen, Catagen & Telegen. At first you experience the anagen phase, where your lashes emerge from the folice and begin to grow. During the catagen phase, your lashes detach from the hair follicle, stop growing and maintain their length, this duration lasts for 2-3 weeks (approx), and then moves onto the telegen phase. During this phase, your eyelashes begin to fall out and the growth cycle repeats itself. So when you notice fall out of your lashes, it's totally normal and your lashes are doing their thing! 🤍
Don't worry, your lashes don't all experience these stages at the same time (otherwise we wouldn't have any lashes at one point!), but this is why infill appointments are so important, to keep your lashes looking full and fluffy by adding extensions to new freshly grown lashes! 🫶🏼
