Blonde Ambition- taking things backwards to go forwards 💫

My client wanted to transform her locks and move away from a golden blonde to work towards being a brighter, blendy blonde 💛

We needed to naturalise the root area to remove some warmth in this session, so the next session we can work on brighter blondes.

Thermal protection-Thermal protection acts as a shield for hair, creating a protective, often silicone-based barrier that minimizes damage from hot styling tools. It works by slowing heat conduction, allowing hair to heat up more gradually, which prevents moisture loss, reduces split ends and breakage, and maintains hair’s, shine and smoothness.

Bond builder- Bond builders repair, strengthen, and protect hair by reconnecting broken disulfide bonds caused by chemical, heat, or mechanical damage. They pe*****te the hair shaft to improve resilience, reduce breakage and frizz, and restore shine and softness. These treatments are particularly effective for restoring damaged or over-processed hair. k18, Olaplex, Blondplex are treatments specifically designed to do this.

Hard water-Hard water deposits minerals like calcium and magnesium onto hair, causing dullness, dryness, frizz, and breakage by creating a buildup that blocks moisture and lifts the cuticle, making hair feel stiff, rough, and difficult to manage, while also fading color and making shampoo less effective. This mineral film prevents hydration and weakens hair structure, leading to tangles, split ends, and a perpetually “dirty” feeling. Use a metal detox shampoo and treatment is great for removing build up.
