🎓 That’s a wrap on another fantastic year in the Beauty Therapy Department!

It’s been a busy year, and we’ve been lucky to work with a fantastic group of beauty students. We’re so proud of all they’ve achieved and wish them every success in the future. 💅✨

This year we also welcomed two new Learning Assistants, Chloe and Mhairi, to the team, and it’s been great to have them on board 💖

Thank you to all our students, clients, and supporters for making this such a wonderful year. We hope you all have a relaxing summer, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the new academic year 2026/27! ☀️🌸

Time to celebrate our incredible Level 5 Beauty Therapy students at UHI Moray 💙✨

What a unique group they have been! While they may be a slightly elusive bunch and we don’t have photos of everyone, each student has played an important part in the class journey this year. 📸😊

Over the past year, they have worked hard to develop their practical skills, expand their industry knowledge, and grow in confidence within the salon environment. They have faced challenges along the way, but they have continued to show determination, resilience, and commitment to their studies.

We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved this year and the progress each student has made, both personally and professionally. 👏

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has visited our student clinics and supported them throughout the year. Your encouragement and willingness to be treated by our students has helped them gain invaluable hands-on experience, build confidence, and develop the skills needed for a successful future in the beauty industry. 🙌

As many of our students look ahead to the next stage of their learning journey, we wish them every success. Whether progressing to Level 6 Beauty Therapy or taking their next steps elsewhere, they should be proud of how far they have come and all they have achieved.

Over the past year, they have worked incredibly hard to develop their practical skills, expand their knowledge, and grow in confidence as beauty therapists. Along the way, they have supported one another through every assessment, treatment, challenge, and achievement, creating a truly positive and encouraging learning environment.

We are so proud of everything they have accomplished this year and the professionalism, dedication, and resilience they have shown throughout their studies 👏

For many students, progressing from Level 5 Beauty Therapy to Level 6 at UHI Moray provides the perfect opportunity to build on existing skills, learn advanced techniques, and prepare for a rewarding career in the beauty and wellness industry. Our courses combine practical, hands-on training with industry knowledge, helping students develop the skills employers are looking for.

Not sure what your skin needs? On Tuesday 2nd June (9.30am-5pm), our beauty students will be available to offer skincare advice and help you find products that are right for you 💆‍♀️✨

Our poor Level 6 Beauty Therapy students are down to the FINAL TWO DAYS of their course and are desperately searching for clients before they finish! 😅💛

We are looking for anyone who would be happy to come in for:

✨ Electrolysis
Perfect for anyone wanting permanent hair removal treatment for small areas such as the chin, upper lip or stray facial hairs, underarm or bikini line. Our students are fully supervised and need real clients to complete their assessments!

✨ Millia Extractions
Got those tiny white bumps under the skin that refuse to budge no matter what you do? Those little stubborn keratin-filled bumps are called millia, and our students need clients for safe professional extractions.
