Our Level 6 Beauty Therapy students are now looking for clients! 💕 As all our students (Level 5 too!) progress through the course and learn new therapies, we’ll be opening up more dates, times and treatments - so keep an eye on our page!

It’s been great to see our Beauty Therapy students getting stuck into practical sessions and team building exercises as part of their induction.

Over the last few weeks they’ve been meeting their classmates and developing the hands-on skills that are at the heart of the industry. For many, these first few weeks are where it all begins. Learning new techniques, building confidence and turning an interest in beauty into a future career.

💅 Our Senior Phase School students join us at UHI Moray every Wednesday, giving school pupils the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in the beauty industry alongside their school studies.

Today, they got stuck into manicures, with some colourful and creative designs taking shape! 🎨💅

The Complementary Therapies department are looking for Reflexologists 👀 they have spaces available on their FREE Hand Reflexology module, starting next week. This 12 week module is completely free to study, with a mix of 8 x online and 4 x face to face classes (see the confirmed dates on the post). To join this module, you will need to have a foot reflexology and an anatomy qualification already. Check out the post below for full details, and visit the link to complete a booking form ☺️

🌿 Are you qualified in Reflexology? 🌿

We have a few FREE infill spaces available for our Hand Reflexology Unit - the perfect way to expand your skills and offer more to your clients.

✨ On this 12-week course, you will:
• Learn the structure of the hands and related reflex areas
• Discover how hand reflexology can be incorporated into your existing treatments
• Add a specialist treatment to your reflexology practice and knowledge

📍 Face-to-Face Classes (9am-1pm)

💻 Alongside this, you’ll complete online classes and self-directed study to support your learning (1 hour online classes are Tuesday’s 1pm-2pm: 8th, 22nd, 29th Sep/ 27th Oct/ 10th, 17th November/ 1st & 8th Dec)

🏗️ ✨ Our Level 5 Beauty Therapy students took on the team-building challenge of creating a tall tower using only paper, scissors and tape - with the goal of balancing a cup unaided on top! ☕️

Every team came up with a different structure, showing fantastic creativity, problem-solving and teamwork 👏💜
