💜 Welcome to Little Lifelines Moray 💜
Little Lifelines Moray is a new community project in development, created to support babies, children and families across Moray with dignity, kindness and without judgement.
A recent local survey received 54 responses and showed overwhelming support for a new baby and family bank. Many respondents had experienced difficulty affording essential items, while embarrassment, uncertainty about accessing support and the need to provide proof were identified as major barriers.
Our aim is to develop a welcoming service that may provide:
🧥 Essential baby and children’s clothing
🍼 Newborn and emergency family bundles
🥾 Winter coats, waterproofs and wellies
👕 School uniforms and clothing swaps
♻️ Affordable preloved items
🚗 Collection and delivery options where possible
🤝 Friendly community activities and connections
We want receiving support to feel as normal and dignified as receiving a gift. Families should feel welcomed, respected and able to ask for help without shame.
Little Lifelines Moray is currently in the early stages of development and is not yet an incorporated Community Interest Company or registered charity. We are working on our governance, policies, premises, funding and partnerships before opening.
We are not accepting money or physical donations just yet—but please follow and share the page to support the journey. Updates, future donation drives and opportunities to get involved will all be posted here.

At The Hair Room we are keen to create a safe space and fun environment for all our clients to visit.

We adopt a supportive and team mentality although everyone is self employed, it doesn’t need to be lonely or a one-person show when your self employed and working from HR you will soon see the fun side of us mad lot.

We have in-house social media and business support to promote on your own socials, encouraging you to build your knowledge, skills, column and experience while getting involved with the community, applying for courses and competitions.

“More than hair” A chance to connect with your clients and the community, get involved and find new opportunities. We have a great group round us and if there is something you want to do or know we can help you find that! Great chair rental rates in return for work toward social and community projects. This might be a reduced blow-dry for a pensioner, coming along to photoshoots or charity events we are involved in or what matters to you!
