Sometimes you realise… you’re actually living something you once dreamed about.

Seeing myself and my work featured in a professional nail magazine feels a little surreal. 🥹🤍

We spend so much time chasing the next goal that we sometimes forget to look back and see how far we’ve already come.

And I think that’s the beautiful thing about this journey. Once one dream becomes reality, a new one starts forming.

For me, that next chapter is education. Sharing what I’ve learned, helping other nail techs grow in confidence and skill, and seeing their own progress has given me a whole new purpose. ✨

Sometimes we really DO achieve those dreams we once thought were so far away.

Then we dream bigger. 🤍

Where are you in your own journey right now?

When your client asks for 5 different colours… do you just pick five that look nice together?

This is where a little colour theory can make a big difference.

For this set, I wanted the colours to flow rather than look like five random shades:
💙 blue → 💜 purple → 🩷 pink → 🧡 orange → 💛 yellow

I also look at the intensity and saturation of each colour. Here, they’re all bright and highly saturated, which keeps the set balanced even though every nail is different.

Do you use the colour wheel when choosing combinations, or do you go by instinct?

Do you ever finish a set, look at it and think… it’s nice, but something is not right?

Understanding the details: proportion, structure, shape, product control and the final refinement can completely change the overall result.
