Soft balayage for the lovely mama to be Laura Moore

Lovely (long overdue) catch up and restyle with Mahri. She came back to see me with frazzled ends and just fed up with her hair. She didn’t want to do much with it and was sick of the grey showing through so we’ve brightened her up and gave her a choppy bob she can wear as a get out of bed and go or have it sleek and smooth.

Pre pigmented with a warm semi to add all the colour pigments that we lost during the lightening process. Also to make sure we got the correct tone and depth we wanted, a lasting result and to also make sure the coverage was even and then we applied an all over colour and cut and blow dried 👩‍🦰

Sooo this was definitely worth the 5 hours is took to get Claire Howards hair how it should have been in the first place.

Claire reluctantly went to another salon while I was on maternity and specifically asked for a balayage. First pictures are what she left with. To me this is not even close to a balayage!

We had to lift and break up the orange chunks with highlights, then we did a root drag to disguise the harsh lines of the previous stripes and to blend it in. Then we added a toner to kill any of the warmth left over.
Safe to say she left happier than when she came in.
