It’s time…for a rebrand 🤍

When I started The Make Up Box I was 29 years old, air hostess with a boyfriend and just wanted to ‘do a bit of make up’. I feel like I’m a completely different person now and the make up box was no longer reflecting my personality or life style. It’s doesn’t feel authentic to me anymore.

Now I’m a 37 year old, married, mum of two beautiful children and co owner of a salon, that I have proudly owned for 5 whole years now. So I had this overwhelming need to change the brands name.

When I had Ava & Reef, my view on the world changed. They became my focus, they are what drives me now. So what word reflects me more than their two names blended.

Absolutely EVERYTHING is still the same, we are still based in the .sisterhood.salon we are still doing all the treatments as we did before, we are still doing bookable online. The only change is the name, to show the true Amy.

The day I had the honour of doing my baby sister, best friend and business partners make up.

I have never been so nervous, in fact I’m never nervous, to do a brides make up. But for Rachael I felt sick. I wanted her to be everything she deserved to be.

When I say she was flawless, she was out of this world, head to toe flawless.
