The power of knowing your colours isn't magic... it's pure science😉
These two photos were taken:
✔️ In the same lighting
✔️ At the same time
✔️ Without changing makeup or camera settings
The only thing that changed was the colour palette surrounding the face.
On the left, you can see Autumn palette which enhances warmth and creates a healthy, radiant complexion. On the right, the Summer palette makes the skin appear slightly duller, emphasises shadows, and steals attention away from the face.

Can you see the difference?!??!

This is exactly why discovering your colour dimensions—your temperature (warm or cool), depth (light or deep), and intensity (muted or bright)—is such a valuable tool.
When you know your colours:

We like the REAL thing and we keep it real, always.
After being a bridal makeup artist for 14 years, I can say that I've developed few skills but I am still don't have a MAGIC WAND, sadly...
The secret to that beautiful bridal glow starts long before the wedding morning.
Let's keep it simple:
✨️Target issues with professional help (skin specialist/cosmetologist/beautician is your person)
💧 Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate (just drink that water, will you?)
🧴 Use serum and Moisturise like there is no tomorrow
☀️ Wear SPF!!! No joke!
😴 Get enough sleep (it's called a beauty time for a reason)
🍎 Nourish your skin from within!

Think of your skincare routine as part of your wedding prep, just like finding the dress or choosing your flowers.
It is obvious but it is worth repeating:
The healthier your skin, the more beautifully your makeup will sit, wear and photograph throughout the day.
Your wedding photos will last a lifetime, and trust me... your future self will thank you for every day you spent looking after your skin.
And I will love you forever ❤️
So if I've ever gently reminded you to moisturise, this is your sign that it wasn't just me being bossy, it's a aign that, as your fairy godmother, i want you to look and feel your best as a bride😘

One of my favourite things about makeup is knowing when to stop.
Seeing pretty face and having endless makeup products can be tempting 😉
But...
Not every face needs full coverage, dramatic contour or heavy lashes. Sometimes a touch of makeup, healthy glowing skin and beautifully styled hair is all that's needed.
This lovely bridesmaid is proof that minimal, modern and elegant never go out of style.
This is what TIMELESS look is about, isn't it?

The ability of stepping back and saying: this is enough, is a true skill.

We couldn't have a trial before the wedding just a videocall consultation and a good chat about my bride's expectations and a vision.
But when i saw THIS DRESS my heart skipped a beat and I knew which direction we must go...
Full glam.
Elegant.
Hollywood vibe.
Old money.
Leading lady.
Showstopper.

That was a big thing to ask my Bride when I basically completely ignored the photos she showed me from a trial with another MUA in Englad...
Was the risk worth it?
You tell me!
I can only say that my Bride wasn't disappointed and the Groom was speechless!

Lesson that we've learnt:
Always trust your gut while booking your MUAH and when she asks you "can we do something a bit different that you've had done before?"
There are risks worth taking!!!

Apparently, i was the first person who told this girl, some time ago, that she's got beautiful green-not brown-eyes!
11 years later, an email landed in my inbox asking for a free date in my diary and here we are-with this stunner who became Mrs couple of days ago...🤍
I don't actually have an algorithm friendly caption, nothing clever to say (shocking, I know) so i just want to tell you, Katy and so many others, your story and your beauty truly touched my heart.
(Yes, it is not only you who gets emotional on your wedding day)

So, just a little reflection as I feel mesmerised by all that sparkling greenery...

We all doubt ourselves from time to time, asking deep existential questions, evaluating life decisions, fighting impostor syndrome, dealing with BTS challenges and keeping private sometimes truly overwhelming issues...but then, at the end of the day, looking at YOU and at myself in the mirror, I can honestly say - I am trying my best.

My beautiful bride was married in a castle, wore a stunning crown and looked every bit the fairytale princess but what I loved most was seeing the woman behind it all—hardworking, kind, down-to-earth and full of warmth. Also, absolutely hilarious and real!!! Genuinely a nice girl. 🤍
Those are the qualities that truly make someone SPECIAL and that's the kind of brides I manifest to see in my chair forever. You are my kind of people!

Congratulations Mrs and thank you for all the conversations, stories, your and your Mum's big hearts that made some young girls very very happy (💄🎁💝🪞) and for trusting me with your pretty face and the most incredible hair (twice in one day).
