Aesthetic treatments are popular for many reasons, and everyone has their own goals regarding what they want to achieve.

Lip filler, for example, isn’t just about making lips fuller (although that is a popular request); many clients come to me wanting a more even shape. Maybe they have always had lips that they didn’t love, or the shape has changed with age; there are many reasons.

This lovely lady felt her lips lacked definition and needed balancing due to lost volume. Problem solved, and her lips still look natural.

So many people have a favourite season, but I am here for them all.

Today marks the start of autumn, which means only one thing: pumpkin spiced lattes! Lies. I love them about as much as I love a matcha, which is very little.

Martin also thinks that autumn is my season; something about witches…I have no idea what he means, though.

It’s that time of year again when I harp on about B12 injections. It’s obvious why, though: they are especially good in the autumn/winter months when many of us feel a bit meh (I am talking from experience 🤭). But listen up, they are not exclusively for that time of year. That is a big fat myth. They are a year-round act of self-love!

Vitamin B12 injections can improve our energy levels and calm our nervous system when we hit those winter months. I don’t know about you, but I’ll take all of that, please and thank you.

In my personal life, I am usually someone who is 100 miles an hour. I have all the tabs open, and I want to view every single reel that I’m sent in the space of five minutes. Oh, and I love a doom scroll. In the words of Johnny 5, I need ‘more input’ (if you know, you know…).

But when it comes to aesthetics, a slower, steadier approach is required. Trust the process and all that. Achieving dream brows means ensuring the shape is perfect, which can take a lot of mapping out, a steady hand, and a few tweaks here and there. But I know it is time well spent when my clients message me to say that ther their brow game is strong again. Tick.

The world of aesthetics involves a lot of ifs, buts and maybes, and a common question I am asked is whether a client will need one session or two. Sometimes, these follow-up sessions are free (such as a tattoo tweak or a PMU top-up); other times, they are classed as a completely separate treatment and are therefore chargeable…sorry!

But I try to be fair, as sometimes we don’t know what we want or need. And we can’t predict the future, however fun that would be.

So if you originally book just one session of Profhilo but decide it is too fabulous not to have a second, I will honour the two-session discount and only charge you the difference.

Jokes aside, the summer holidays have been good, and I have enjoyed making loads of new memories with Martin and the girls. But (and this is a BIG but), I am ready to get back into a routine and regain some structure to my week.

Moi a creature of habit? Hell yeah, and no shame here.
