It’s with a heavy heart that I regret to inform everyone that my darling Rob passed away on 22nd July 2024. He was the love of my life and I am truly heartbroken.

Rob wished to spend his last few months in Gibraltar, a place he believed would bring him joy and the ability to live his life as best as he could given his circumstances.
Sadly this time was much shorter than what we expected, with Rob spending his final two weeks in the hospital.

The care provided by the ward’s staff during his final two weeks was truly heartwarming. They treated him and us with kindness, dignity and compassion, making us feel like family.

To express our gratitude, we kindly request no flowers or sympathy cards. Instead, donations in Rob’s memory would be greatly appreciated. Your contributions will go towards supporting the ward that cared for him so tenderly.

Robs funeral will take place on Friday 9th August @ 10.45am in Emstrey Crematorium
London Rd, Shrewsbury SY2 6PS.

Afterwards, we will gather at The Admiral Benbow (24 Swan Hill, Shrewsbury SY1 1NF).
This was a place Rob loved, filled with cherished memories. It feels fitting to share one last drink there together in his honour.
