Meet the Team.
Mo-nee-Lisa - Head Groundskeeper
Not to be confused with our Centre Manager Lisa, Mo-nee Lisa is our robot lawnmower and the hardest-working member of the team. She’s out keeping the grass immaculate day and night, never takes a tea break and never complains. Some say she’s a masterpiece. If you spot her gliding across the lawn with that famously mysterious smile, give her a wave, and keep an eye out for her on our social media.

As the air cools, the cold plunge only gets better — sharper, more awake-making, more worth it. Some things are made for this time of year.
There's a reason cold water therapy has such a following once autumn sets in — the contrast just hits differently. Step in, feel every sense switch on at once, then straight into the warmth of the lodge after. It's a small ritual, but it changes the whole shape of an evening.
Every lodge has its own cold plunge, ready whenever you're brave enough for it.

The equinox marks the real turn of the season here — the woodland around the lough starting to change colour, mornings a little mistier each day. Fermanagh does autumn well.
There's a specific kind of quiet that settles in around now — fewer voices carrying across the water, the trees along the shoreline slowly turning gold and rust, mist sitting low until the sun properly clears it. It's a different Loughshore to the one you'll have seen in July, and honestly, just as worth seeing.
If you've only ever pictured a summer stay here, this might be the season that changes your mind.

There's a different kind of good about the sauna once the evenings turn cold outside. Heat up, step out into the crisp air, repeat.
It's a contrast that only really works this time of year — the heat feels more earned, the cold air afterwards feels sharper, and the whole thing turns into a proper rhythm rather than just a warm-up. A few rounds of that, and the rest of the evening feels completely different.
Every lodge has its own sauna, ready whenever the evening calls for it — no booking a slot, no sharing with anyone else.

"We had such a lovely weekend. The house is cosy, peaceful, and perfect for switching off. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts clearly put care into every detail. The fact that it’s pet friendly made the trip even more enjoyable — our dog felt right at home and the space was ideal for bringing a pet along without any stress. A truly relaxing and wholesome getaway. We’d happily stay again."

Jumper weather has arrived, and so has fire pit season. Every lodge comes with its own — marshmallows optional, slowing down not optional.
There's a particular kind of evening that only happens this time of year: cold enough for a jumper, still enough to hear the fire crackle, dark enough that the flames do most of the work. Every lodge at Loughshore has its own fire pit, right outside, ready whenever the evening calls for it.
Bring the marshmallows if you want them. The slowing down happens either way.
