As Mother’s Day approaches, I want to take a moment to hold space for those of you who may be lying in bed tonight feeling heavy, anxious, or overwhelmed about the day ahead.

I am thinking of those who are longing to be mothers, whose hearts ache with hope and uncertainty.
I am thinking of those who have experienced the unimaginable pain of losing a child, carrying that silent grief every single day.
To those who have never known the comfort of a mother's love, or whose relationship with their mother feels distant, broken, or complicated.
To the dads who are trying to fill the space of two, gently explaining to little ones why their mummy isn’t there.
To those who have lost their mothers and carry that absence like a shadow on days like this.
To anyone who questions if they’re “enough” or struggles with their own sense of worth as a mother.
And to anyone else who feels unseen, forgotten, or uneasy as this day approaches — I see you too.

I know that tonight may feel like too much. You may be holding back tears, or quietly breaking under the weight of emotions that few can understand.
Please know this — there is no “right” way to feel. You are not alone in your thoughts, your sadness, or your grief.

You do not need to have all the answers. You don’t need to “be strong” for anyone tonight.
Be gentle with yourself. Take a deep breath. Allow yourself to feel, and know that this day will pass.

You will get through it. You are loved. You are seen. You are enough.

Sending you love, comfort, and the biggest hug.
