Year 6 school leavers ! How did time go so quickly ?!

Lillyrose you have dealt with so much since year 3 of primary school ! But you kept a level strong positive head .
You are Rio hero , as you know!! he is obsessed with his sister ( the way Rio looks ups to you , the way if mummy tells you off Rio defends you lol ) your bond is magical . You are the best daughter and sister .

Rio, your nursery graduation day. 🎓💙

Today is a day I held onto hope for during our darkest days. I dreamed that this day would come, that you would get to go back to nursery and graduate with your friends.

You only attended nursery for 8 short weeks before that monster, neuroblastoma, invaded your perfect little innocent body. Then, baby boy, your life was put on hold as you faced aggressive, intensive, toxic treatment.

Watching you fight every single day was all for moments like today—attending nursery, playing with your friends, and living the normal childhood that every child deserves.

While we were in transplant, we took with us the beautiful banner your nursery friends had so kindly made for you. I looked at it every day, believing in you, believing in your strength, and holding onto the hope that one day you would return to nursery.

And you did.

Every milestone you reach, every smile, every laugh, and every happy memory you make means more than words could ever describe. Seeing you experience these precious moments fills my heart with so much happiness.

Rio, you are the strongest, bravest, happiest, and most fearless little boy I know. Watching you at your graduation today, smiling from ear to ear, made my heart burst with pride.

There were so many emotions today. Everyone tells me how strong I am, but the truth is, I’m not even a quarter as strong as you are.

I love you more than words will ever be able to say, my beautiful boy. I am so unbelievably proud of you. Keep shining, keep smiling, and keep showing the world just how incredible you are. 💙🎓✨ I love you
