When a delighted bride messages you with a photo from her wedding day, saying how happy she was with her hair 💓
Honestly, that’s what it’s all about; knowing that you helped make someone feel truly special on their most precious day. What a pleasure it was being part of this lovely, LOVELY bride’s day. I wish you + your new husband every blessing for the future 🌿

My gorgeous Mother-in-Law, 💋 Such a sophisticated lady - and as beautiful inside as she is out! I had the pleasure of dolling her up recently for a family wedding, and doesn’t she look captivating 👌🏼

This weekend just past, I had the pleasure of attending a gorgeous wedding in Sicily 🍋It was so wonderful witnessing my husband’s, cousins wedding👰🏻
My husband’s sister, Cristiana, was one of the bridesmaids, and so, of course I got to doll her up for the wedding. Doesn’t she look gorgeous! 💓 She wore pinks, mauves and browns in her eyeshadow. And for her hair, I prepared natural waves, which lasted until 3am! What a fab time we had🌿 Take a look at the process here 💄

Mother-of-Groom, that is.
This lovely lady looked absolutely gorgeous for her sons wedding last weekend. I should have gotten a shot of her whole outfit - She looked simply wonderful 💜 And what a beauty she was on the inside too. Not only do I really enjoy dolling people up for special occasions, but I seriously love getting to know them too. The whole family and I really hit it off, and it made for such a lovely experience.

If you know of anyone who is in need of an extra pair of creative hands for a special occasion, please do get in contact. I do mobile hair and make up 💁🏻‍♀️

Rewarding - this might not be the first word you think of when it comes to the job of a hair and make up artist. Maybe a teacher or midwife...? But when you’re surrounded by such lovely people on an extra special day - getting involved in the family natter, dabbing away tears as you correct the eye make up... watching on as father sees daughter for the first in her dress - it IS rewarding! A privileged position to be in; I have been chosen and invited to be part of this family’s big day, and no hair and make up artist should take that for granted. With every job, I do my best to bring peace, joy and ease to every family I meet. Today, I was met with open arms by this lovely lot (the second time we’d met since the hair and make up trial) and to be honest, I didn’t want to leave.
Thanks for the fab morning guys. I hope you’re all having a splendid day. Sabrina, you make the perfect bride👰🏻

Happy Anniversary AND Happy Birthday to my long time bestie! 2 years since your wedding - how time flies! And about 20 years since we first met in high school! What?! I hope you’ve had the best weekend celebrating and I hope you continue to have best time, being spoilt rotten today! Loads of love ♥️

It was so lovely doing the make up for these two gorgeous gals this morning, right before they shot their part for some filming at City Hill Church, Clapham Common.

Unreal, a day I only dreamed of. After nearly 10 years of preparing so many gorgeous brides on the morning of their big day, I was finally the bride looking back at her reflection in the mirror with delight. Having your hair and make up done on your big day is so personal, as I have learned over the years and in the build up to my wedding. It’s very important for the bride to have ‘that something special’, yet look and feel like herself. Your hair and make up can either make you feel like a confident and true bride as you quite literally put on a brave face for the crowds. Or it can make you feel uncomfortable, exposed and even slightly embarrassed about the way you look. This is why I had to do my own hair and make up for my wedding. This has truly given me a whole new perspective and insight into the life of a bride. I always wanted to be the one in the hot seat with a huge hair and make up team surrounding my girls and I. But how lovely it was locking myself away and taking the time to enjoy the process - something I love to do. It’s moments like these that I try to bring to my brides on possibly the busiest morning of their lives - a piece of peace. A little getaway. In the chitter-chatter, the frantic running around and the “what’s and where’s”, it’s just the Bride, myself and a little glass of bubbly 👰🏻🥂🕊
