I had the pleasure of seeing this new client recently in hope that we could find some lash extensions that would look as dramatic as her previous extensions, but would still maintain a good retention period. Her previous extensions had not necessarily been done badly or wrong, but they weren’t particularly the right curl or length for her own lashes. Therefore they were difficult to maintain, and needed too frequent an infill. This client has been having lashes for a long time and felt this wasn’t in line with her normal lash growth/cycle.
Although the extensions I applied in the bottom photo don’t look as heavy or long, they are curlier and lighter. In hope that the curl will show more of a lifted length on an open eye and dramatic in a softer, fluffy way.
Over the next month or so, we hope to build the extensions up in volume for a more dramatic effect, whilst maintaining good retention. But this may take time if the natural lashes have been damaged from the previous extensions.
Our lashes and growth cycles can change regularly throughout the year, but sometimes we can help the retention/health of our lashes by tweaking things. 🤞🏼
