Broadway Food & Drink Festival
🍸 LAST NIGHT AT THE WOOD NORTON ⚜️ What a brilliant time we had last night, when 16 guests joined us for a very special GLYNN & TONIC.
We started with the lovely Anna and Aga from hentonygin, who took everyone through a fascinating gin tasting, accompanied by canapés and plenty of stories about their local gin 🍸
And then, of course, there was Glynn Purnell, who was on great form as always ⭐️ The food was fantastic, that’s a given, but what we love most about these evenings is that Glynn really is part of the event. He doesn’t just create the menu and disappear back into the kitchen. He comes out, chats to everyone, shares stories, has a laugh, and makes the whole evening feel personal.
As an extra surprise, Glynn had a present for everyone too: a signed copy of his amazing book to take home. What a night ⚜️🍸

Henry VIII paid a royal visit to his loyal subjects and gave an audience in Evesham 👑
During his visit, he was also introduced to his royal successor in Evesham — Hentony Gin
To be fair, the name Hen - Tony comes from a mix of our sons’ names, Henry and Antoni. But I must admit… there may be a little connection to this crazy, passionate king after all.
A fun day, a royal meeting, and a perfect memory to keep forever. Hail to the King 😁
