as the new studio started coming together, it felt like the right time for the brand to grow with it too. i wanted something that felt more aligned with the space i’m creating now ~ relaxed, warm, grounded and rooted in beautiful hair, wellness and effortless beauty.

this little rebrand has been such a special part of the process, and i’m so grateful to moxiemuse for helping bring the vision and feeling behind koah to life.

there’s still so much more to share, including the actual studio space very soon, but for now, here’s the brand behind this chapter.

our new hair home ☁️☁️

so so excited to share with you that I’ll be opening a new hair + wellness space in the beautiful location that is huxham barns.

huxham barns feels like a little escape, surrounded by countryside and other independent businesses, while still being only around 10 mins from central exeter. 🌾

feeling so grateful to have found such a beautiful space for the salon, my regular clients will know how much this place has been manifested into existence !! 🌞

soft ribbons + brighter pieces to blend everything back together after over a year without colour ☁️

obsessed with how creamy + dimensional this turned out. perfect timing before this gorg sunshine!! hope everyone has a sunny bank holiday weekend ☀️☀️

grey blending 🫶

softening jos natural root, adding brightness and a much gentler blend

to create this blend I used superrr fine baby light lights to mimic jos natural grey pattern, and added soft lowlights to bring back some natural depth to her hair (which helps to create that natural salt and pepper blend)

we then glossed everything with a soft tone that would work with her natural colour and suit her skin tone ✨

bringing ash’s blonde back to life 🌞

hard water + product build up can sit on the hair and block your colour from lifting cleanly which is why some blondes feel dull and flat

so before we started lightening I used the davines beautiful things pre treatment, a 3 step treatment designed to remove mineral build up from hard water + product build up to reset the hair

beautiful things in salon treatment is a £10 add on for any lightening services. i highly recommend to give us the perfect base so your blonde can lift brighter and more evenly !! ✨✨
