❄️ Cryotherapy for the removal of Warts. ❄️
❄️ Warts are a very common viral infection which have been treated for many years with Cryotherapy.
❄️ Common Warts present as small rough, hard, modular growths on the skin. They can occur singularly but more commonly occur in groups on the hands, fingers, and knees but can ultimately occur anywhere ❄️
❄️ The viral infection is caused by the Human Papilloma Virus and they are contagious ❄️
❄️ If the Virus is active they may be stubborn, and a single treatment may not be enough to destroy the infection so re-treatments may be required ❄️
❄️ All warts have their own blood supply. The virus causes an extreme overgrowth of Keratinised tissue.
❄️ Please DM me if you would like to book in for a free consultation to chat about any areas you are thinking of getting treated ❄️

❄️ Cryotherapy for the removal of Solar Lentignes/Lentigos or more commonly known as Age Spots or Sun-damage.
❄️ A lentigo is a small pigmented flat or slightly raised spot with a clearly defined edge that is surrounded by normal appearing skin. Lentigos May evolve slowly over years or they may appear suddenly.
❄️ These blemishes are amongst the easiest to treat with Cryotherapy and will usually give permanent results, as long as you are subsequently careful to avoid further sun damage.
❄️ Treatment for these blemishes start from £50 and are size dependant.
❄️ If you would like a free consultation to chat about any treatment you might be interested in please DM me through my page cryotherapy_by_jenny

❄️ Skin Tags ❄️
These are harmless benign skin growths that are most commonly found on the neck, axils region, under the bra area and groin.
❄️ They can present in a varying sizes from 1-2mm sometimes up to 1cm and their colour will range from a flesh tone to dark brown.
❄️ Many people have multiple skin tags.
❄️ They can be slightly raised but more commonly they will have a stalk or neck like a mushroom or have a flat neck.
❄️ Skin tags are most commonly found on women, those who are overweight and in the elderly.
❄️ They do not generally cause discomfort but can become irritated and sore if allowed to rub against clothing or jewellery.
❄️ Skin tags have there own blood supply and Sometimes you will find the stalk is almost as thick as the head in which case the blood supply is usually more developed and so the tag is more difficult to remove and may require 2 or 3 treatments.
Please DM if you require anymore info or would like to book in for a free consultation.

❄️ Treating Milia with Cryotherapy
❄️ Milia appear as small white benign cysts on dry skin or drier areas of the skin typically under the eyes and across the cheeks. Sebum and dead keratinised debris accumulate in blind pores under the skin forming a hard-pearly ball that can vary in size from a pinhead up to 2mm.
❄️ Milia occur when normal sebaceous secretions are not able to find their way into the skins surface easily - the pore has literally healed over (see picture below). Where they exist in isolated areas on the skin that are not particularly dry then this may be a result of pore product usage. I would encourage you to analyse your products for aggravating and congesting ingredients such as mineral oils, soap, sulphates and parabens.

Treatment with Cryotherapy is quicker and less traumatic for the skin and client than extraction via the micro land that might traditionally be carried out by therapists. Cryotherapy is able to treat multiple milia successfully without trauma to the skin.

❄️ How Does Cryotherapy Work?
❄️ No longer being treated by the NHS.
❄️ Cryotherapy emits a fine jet of super
cold gas under high pressure, which allows me to work with millimetre
precision.
❄️ The device destroys the tissue by freezing the inter-cellular fluid, forming ice shards and crystals which rupture the membrane, thereby destroying the cell.
❄️That means there will be no collateral damage to healthy tissue. It's so incredibly accurate and practical.
🌞 With summer well and truly underway and everyone in their summer attire there is no better time to remove any unwanted skin imperfections.
❄️ This is no longer a treatment provided on the NHS.
❄️ Cryotherapy is a highly effective and safe procedure that is used to freeze and destroy benign skin lesions.
❄️ It uses nitrous oxide under pressure to destroy the tissue by freezing the cell fluid which in turn forms ice shards that rupture the cell membrane this in turn destroying the cell and the lesion.
❄️ There are no limitations on activities after the treatment, you will receive an aftercare leaflet.
