I blushed these lips 21 months ago . .
And they still look like this 😮‍💨

Seeing my work again nearly two years later makes me so happy. The colour is still soft, even and beautifully natural which is exactly how lip blush should age.

It’s easy to show lips immediately after treatment, but the healed result is what really matters. This is what carefully chosen colour, good technique and proper aftercare can achieve.

Of course, everyone’s retention will vary depending on their skin, lifestyle and aftercare but these are just beautiful and deserved to be back on the grid 🤎

Sometimes the best way to create a beautiful new result is to first make space for it.

On Monday, I’ll be completing specialist training in Hanafy Saline Removal giving me another option to help clients who are unhappy with old, dark, oversaturated, discoloured or misplaced permanent makeup.

Saline removal works by carefully implanting a specialist removal solution into the unwanted pigment. During the healing process, pigment is gradually lifted towards the surface and removed through the skin.

Removal is a process, and multiple sessions may be needed. Complete removal can never be guaranteed but every treatment plan will begin with an honest, personalised assessment.

My Monday Mindset post is a little late today, because there was somewhere more important I needed to be.

We live in a time where we’re led to believe that if we don’t show up on social media every day, everything we’ve built will somehow disappear. At least, that’s how I feel sometimes.

But sometimes life reminds us that some things are just more important.

And when that happens, you’re allowed to STOP.

Everything you’ve worked for will still be there. A few days away won’t undo months or years of hard work. You don’t have to keep everything moving all of the time for it not to fall apart.

They say “Rome wasn’t built in a day”… but you know what? I bet it would be pretty hard to tear it all down in a day too!

Sometimes the most important thing you can do is be exactly where you need to be.

The rest can wait. 🤎

A little reminder that you don’t have to have everything figured out.

Whether it’s work, family, relationships or just life in general, sometimes simply continuing to show up is enough.

Don’t put pressure on yourself to know exactly where you’re going. Focus on what you can do today and trust that all those little steps will eventually add up 🤎

Lip filler and lip blush are definitely not the same thing

One adds volume and structure, the other adds colour and definition.

One thing I hear a lot as a PMU Artist is “I don’t want my lips to look bigger”
Lip blush doesn’t add any physical volume. It’s all about enhancing what you already have with a colour tailored to you.
