Happy new year to you all and although it might be a little late for most of you it’s right on time for the Chinese celebration so imma roll with it! Entering the year of the Tiger so listen to that fire in your bellies and move with both ferocity, grace and and sprinkling of magic throughout 2022!
January has been a write off month in ways for me but one of planting seeds, taking care of myself and loved ones and restoration. So now I am ready to open my door and arms with loving energy!
I hope so much that your year has started well and that you are feeling loved reading this (because you are)! But if not I’m sorry, know that however you’re feeling and whatever you’re dealing with will change soon enough and that it’s all part of this crazy journey. Just please be kind to yourself along the way! I’ve just finished the 30 day yoga journey MOVE with and I couldn’t recommend it more! Finding ways in which we can show up for ourselves and take care of our bodies and spirit is such an admirable thing and I truly believe that’s why we’re here, to feel good, and to find ways to move with ease when we’re not. I know I have been very quiet on here for a while now and I appreciate you all for bearing with me!! As we welcome in spring and reflect over the past year I think what has become extremely relevant to so many more of us is the importance of self care and the relationships we have with ourselves. For many of us the past year has meant more time on our own without being able to access parts of our usual daily lives that help us to manage our emotions, be it fitness or creative outlets/classes, social events, restaurants, the list really does go on and on and will look different for each of us. So what do we do when we cannot rely on outside sources to pick us up? We must go inward and look for ways in which we can nurture ourselves and again these will look very different for everybody but I wanted to share just a few of my go to pick me ups! I truly believe that what we can do for ourselves and the relationship we have with ourselves will be the most impactful and beneficial relationship in our lives. You are so worth the consistent effort and daily practices that will make your life happier, healthier and more fulfilling ♥️
