These photos were taken just 2 weeks apart following Nose Slimming Botox - look at the difference in the width of the nostrils and how much less they flare.

🧬 The science behind it…

The nasalis muscle plays a role in widening and flaring the nostrils.

Anti-wrinkle injections work by temporarily relaxing the signals between the nerves and muscles, meaning the muscle doesn’t contract as strongly.

By carefully treating the appropriate part of the nasalis muscle, we can reduce the strength of its contraction. This means that when the client smiles or naturally flares their nose, the nostrils aren’t pulled outwards as strongly.

The result? ✨

🤍 A narrower appearance through the lower nose
🤍 A softer, more refined look
🤍 All without changing the actual structure of the nose

It’s a lovely example of how Botox isn’t just for treating lines and wrinkles - strategically relaxing specific facial muscles can subtly change the way certain features move and appear.

But what actually is PRP? 🩸

PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma. A small amount of your own blood is taken and processed to separate and concentrate the platelet-rich plasma. This plasma contains platelets and growth factors involved in your body’s natural healing and tissue-repair processes.

It can then be used to support natural skin rejuvenation - either alongside microneedling as a Vampire Facial, or as a targeted PRP treatment.

PRP can be particularly useful for:

✨ Improving overall skin texture and quality
✨ Supporting collagen production
✨ Softening the appearance of fine lines
✨ Improving the appearance of some acne scarring
✨ Giving tired or dull-looking skin a fresher appearance
