I will be away from Friday 9th January for two weeks, I will be back Mobile on Wednesday 28th January and return to the salon on Thursday 29th January! I won’t be able to answer calls or texts whilst I’m away but I will see them and make a note and contact you on my return!

💐UPDATE💐

Firstly I just want to say a huge Thank you to all of my clients this week for being so understanding, it’s not been an easy week having to cancel and resort but you have all been amazing & supportive and I really appreciate each and everyone of you 🥰
My first Christmas season at Fades & Shades and I have put Nora & Liz through it to by not being there! They have been absolutely brilliant and sorted some of my clients for me who are extremely grateful so Big Shout out to both of them! 🙏💐🥳
I have been to the drs this morning and yes it is this awful flu that’s going around and I have antibiotics for my chest so hopefully now I will be on the mend and can kick this Flu in the ass, I’ve had enough now!
Look forward to seeing you all next week! I have to be better by then surly 🙈

Sadly this Flu doesn’t seem to want to shift! I tried to go back to work today but just couldn’t, I am just still to ill! I am awaiting a call from the duty Drs but I doubt there will be any miracle cure either so here I am still in bed trying to fight this. I am absolutely gutted and am so sorry sorry to all of you my lovely clients for having had to cancel your appointments this week. You have all been so understanding and I will be back in touch soon to see what I can do!

‼️IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE‼️

Well I was hoping not to have to be posting this today and have waited until last possible moment but sadly here it is I am ill!!!
I struggled through last Friday until 6pm, came home and went to bed which is where I have been since. I Was hoping by tomorrow I would be ok to be back at work but sadly that isn’t going to be the case. I am taking it one day at a time. If you have an appointment with me tomorrow (Tuesday 9th) I will contact you. I can’t apologise enough as it’s the worst time of year for any of us hairdressers to be ill. Having been fully booked for months in advance and no free appointments available it’s the last thing I need to be honest and I feel bad for letting anyone down but unless there is some miracle before the morning I can’t see me being well enough 🤒Once I’m up and about I will see what I can do but for now I Thank You for your understanding and apologise again 😭❤️ xx

I will return to work on Thursday 27th November and this will be a mobile day and I will be back in
Fades & Shades on Friday 28th November then back to normal days the week after! I have and will be working extra hours to fit you in and although fully booked for the rest of the year please contact me if you haven’t booked yet because people do cancel and I always do my best to get you in!

A colour refresh done at home this evening for my gorgeous daughter. Coppers are very much in fashion this Autumn and Amber has been this colour for a little while but hasn’t had it done for 6 months so it really needed doing. Along side the colour i also used Vitaplex treatment to help look after the hair during the colour process and give it an intense condition!

Something a bit different than the norm this afternoon.
My lovely client normally has a red mahogany brown colour on her hair but has decided with her lighter hair growing through her roots are showing to quickly, she hasn’t had a colour for a few months to help get it started.
It’s a work in progress because red is the hardest thing to get out of the hair when you want to go lighter so the roots will blend more. Eventually we aim to get a more grey colour but with her colour before being able to achieve it in one go isn’t possible. We were very happy with how it came out for the first go, watch this space for the next time!

Wow I can’t believe I have been at Fades & Shades for a month, now going into my fifth week! It’s been absolutely crazy busy. Nora & Liz have been absolutely lovely from the first moment I met them and super supportive whilst I have been settling in so a big Thank you to you both. Most importantly all my lovely clients that have been in so far are happy and enjoying the new salon surroundings and great atmosphere. I still have a lot of you to welcome through the door which I am looking forward to but a big Thank you to you all for your support and helping make the transition easy 🥰
I have also welcomed some new clients too which has been lovely and Thank you to them for rebooking.
I am in Fades & Shades Thursdays & Fridays from 9-4pm booking is essential but sometimes not necessary.
I look forward to continuing welcoming my loyal amazing clients and to any new customers feel free to pop in and see me!
