📢ANNOUNCEMENT📢: After 5 amazing years, I’ve decided to take a hiatus from SuzyBlue. I say hiatus because I don’t think I could ever give up my wee business completely…

As most of my clients know, I still work full time in the marketing industry and have recently been offered my dream job for my dream brand. Unfortunately this step up and new commitment will make it almost impossible to continue the hours I’m working in the studio, and after 5 years of juggling two jobs (and more recently planning a wedding, renovating a house, learning to drive and training for a half marathon) I’ve come to the bittersweet decision to step back from SuzyBlue.

I want to take a moment to thank , and for making my wee dream of becoming a makeup artist and nail tech a reality, and for putting up with my oversharing, antics and questionable outfits for 4 years😂.

To my clients…whether you’ve visited me once, or came to me regularly, I can’t thank you enough for choosing me. We’ve gone through births, deaths, promotions, weddings, breakups, house moves trauma and joy, all while holding each others hands. We’ve laughed, cried, celebrated and mourned together and it’s been such a privilege. I’ll hold this chapter in my life so dear to my heart.

✨A New Chapter✨

After a fantastic 3 and a half years at Sorella hair and beauty, it’s time for the next chapter.

As of the 19th of November, I will be working from my very own studio based at my home in Falkirk.

To my regulars, I’ll give you all the info you need at your next appointment. New clients or those coming for makeup, I’ll reach out directly with the studio address if your appointment is impacted (don’t worry, the new location is very close to Sorella).

Kerrie and Nicola, I would 100% not be in the position I am now without you both. You have no idea how much you’ve positively impacted my life professionally and personally. You truly are the best pair - phenomenal business women with the kindest hearts.

I have big plans for Suzy Blue, including a launch party in the very near future (keep your eyes peeled👀), and can’t wait for you all to be a part of it.

Thanks so much again for your continued custom and support. I am so grateful for those who have ever, or continue to visit Suzy Blue, it means the world🌍.

Thank you all so much for your patience throughout the last month and a half - between holidays, weddings, moving house and illness I’ve been slacking on the admin side of things! I’m so happy to be back into my usual routine of Monday evenings and Saturdays (and the occasional Tuesday!) at the salon. I check and answer mails regularly but life is still pretty hectic so please give me a nudge if I’m radio silent! See you soon! SB x

IMPORTANT:

Unfortunately I’ve contracted a bacterial skin infection so I will be unable to carry out any treatments in the salon this weekend and will therefore have to cancel all appointments. I really hate letting people down and believe me if there was any way around it around I’d be there, but from a hygiene perspective it just isn’t sensible for me to be working on other people’s skin until I’ve finished my antibiotics. All clients have been notified individually and I will be in touch with next weeks clients as soon as I know if I’ll be able to return to to salon. Thank you so much for understanding - hopefully I’ll be back in business soon!

Hello! Thank you so much for all of your enquiries - I seem to have had a wee surge in messages whilst I was away on holiday. That’s me home and I’ll get back to everyone today and tomorrow. Thanks so much as always for keeping me so busy! S.B x
