✨ Professional Development Update ✨

I’ve just completed a 60‑minute CPD webinar with RESTORE Scar Therapy on Hypermobility and Scars — a topic that sits right at the intersection of movement, connective tissue health, and long‑term recovery.

Hypermobility can influence how scars form, how they behave, and how they respond to treatment. Understanding these nuances means I can offer more tailored, gentle, and effective support for clients whose bodies need a little extra consideration.

This learning feeds directly into the work I do every day — trauma‑informed, immune‑sensitive, and rooted in evidence‑based care.
I’m excited to bring this knowledge into my sessions and continue advocating for clients with complex needs.

Back training with LTA Global today, I'm learning the theory part of Lymphoedema Management for Manual Therapist and I'm looking forward to the in-person training in December 🙏

Food for thought regarding Post Surgical Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Postoperative care should NOT be offered after completing a 1 or 2 day course! Please share this far and wide. 1 and 2 day courses are a great introduction to plastic surgery aftercare but don't believe you know enough to be safe treating a vulnerable patient in the first 2 - 3 weeks after surgery.

I will be undertaking more advanced training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage with Lymphoedema Training Academy later this year with more training planned for 2027
