today was a massage/lash lift/ waxing kinda day, and I absolutely loved it! ☺️

Woohoo, last theory exam and last practical exam today!
I had my gorgeous study buddies .trimz beside me for moral support lol, and my amazing bf for his hair and beard trim!
I actually can't believe there's only 4 weeks til we qualify! eek!

So today was a fun wednesday!
I had the place to myself for a wee bit while I waited on my classmates and I was treated to a surprise coffee from my bestie while I waited😁

Then, the practical exams continued, So I managed to get another 2 parts to it ticked off the list today , and am super grateful to some familiar faces who have kindly returned to help me on the last wee part of the journey. (it's getting close now- can't believe we've only another month or so until we qualify eek!!)

After class it was off to placement where I got to cut the most amazing curly haired client, (forgot to take pics as I was having too much fun lol) with support from the amazing Jackie and Jordan!
I'm forever grateful to them for all their help and support in my barbering journey, as I am to all my classmates and lecturers at the training school!

I honestly feel so lucky to have such amazing people around me
(and that includes all you wonderful folks that are following my journey and letting me practice

Just a girl and her wax pot 🤣
So,you'll never guess what I was doing in the salon today... you guessed it 🤣
and... turns out it was my 3year Renella-versary!! how amazing is that!
I honestly couldn't ask for a better wee team either, I'm so grateful to each and every one of the staff, and each and every one of you who have been part of my journey!
thank you so much for sticking with me 🥰 and I'm so excited about the next adventures that are already unfolding!!

And just like that Wednesday's a wrap!
it was another exam day today, so we got some extra study in this morning, which also included coffee and a little visit from a pretty wee robin!
Then we were given our portfolios and assessed in shampooing ( including consultation, assessing the hair and scalp, and product knowledge) Thanks for being my glamorous model 😁
So thats- one consultation and shampoo practical assessment ticked off (and I got a distinction - yay!!)

Then after lunch we had our 2nd last theory exam with the best study partner
(fingers crossed lol )🤞
and off to placement where I got a few more awesome pointers on fades....then home time for a yummy dinner with my lad!

Omg today was the best wee day!!
I walked in and was surprised with a coffee from my bestie, then there was loadsa theory (which I loooove🥰) for our exam in Wednesday.
Then there was more coffee 🤣 and I had my beautiful momma in for her hair! I'm sooo happy with the results - the aim was to give more life and volume to her hair and I think we achieved it 😁🙌

It's Saturday... salon Saturday if you will! 🙌
You can tell the suns out coz I've been waxing all day! 😂 with a little bit of hypnotherapy to balance it out !
oh and I was treated to a yummy cake from one of my faves today too, and I got to enjoy the most beautiful views as I walked back from the salon!

Today me and my mannequin started with 4 back and sides. then I did a 2 back and sides, and finished with a 1 back and sides!
really happy with the connections at the side and the blending down the guards! I'm loving feeling more confident and familiar with the clippers!
