A big THANK YOU…. To all who donated and contributed to our Easter egg appeal. The weather behaved and in the cold but sunny town center there were 220 Easter eggs given away and 250 invites to church.

The kindness that has been shown to me & my family since my Dads passing has been humbling.

My Dad used to often say “you never know what a day will bring” well that was certainly true for us last Sunday. 💔

It is with huge sadness that I want to let you know that my wonderful Dad passed away unexpectedly on Sunday. 💔

We are all just heartbroken as he was such an important part of our family, he was kind, generous & funny. He loved us & was hugely proud of his family as we were of him.

There is going to be a huge hole in our family but we take comfort from the fact that he lived well most of his 87yrs.
He did his shopping in Asda on Saturday morning and we visited him for a cuppa on Saturday night & kept him company while he had his dinner not knowing that it would be our last visit with him 💔

He has done so well this last 18yrs without my precious Mum, but he is reunited with her now & we take great comfort in that fact. If you are a person who prays can I ask you to pray for us, my brother & his family, my aunt, uncle & cousins as we come to terms with our loss.

He was the best Dad, Grandad & father in law to us, we will miss him desperately. 💔
