to make up for a ‘full-on-ADHD-day’ yesterday …so busy getting nothing done and feeling it 😐

I did manage to get a rather late-in-the-day swim, at low tide…

Beach to myself …grateful for this. That’s why I go early …there’s something magical about being alone here; with the birds chirping, gentle,rhythmic waters lapping the shore, that fresh smell in the air, sparkly water and sunshine on my skin.

Yesterday’s swim with friends …and glorious florals on the walk back to their’s. All in baking hot sunshine! 🌞

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, a lot has happened. (Grab a cuppa, this is a long post!)
A series of extremely events in 2021 caused me to …I literally emptied my van after the final market on Christmas Eve, put my stall & remaining work away - and mentally crashed (in my usual quiet way …I’m not one to make a fuss).
I don’t remember much of Christmas,
luckily, all my children had arranged to have dinner with their partners - for the first time …there was no big family gathering. I saw them later in the day.

I spent the following 6 months trying to recover, and slowly I got to working again.
Unfortunately, another ‘incident’ triggered me, and my stress-levels hit the roof 🤯
I was back to square one.
It’s taken nearly two years to get seen and assessed by our struggling Mental Health Team. The outcome has been a diagnoses of Complex PTSD (which I had come to realise myself really) …so I tired to practice self-care and keep my stress levels down, but as a self-employed person, struggling to work with mental health issues …we’ll it’s hard, it’s very stressful.

Mid-December 2022 my ex-husband called an ambulance …as I was feeling extremely unwell, very strange indeed and frightened…
One aspirin later, and the incredibly fast response from the ambulance crew - I was ‘hooked up’ to confirm; it was a hyperventilation episode - otherwise known as a panic attack.
After a thorough explanation of what happens to the body, when this occurs, i could understand it, and so lessened the fear of having another (by a very tiny amount!)
- But what I really took from the experience, was the promise I made to myself whilst waiting for the ambulance to arrive; I spoke to ‘the universe’ (in my head) “I will do as I’m told - whatever it takes - just make me well!”
So, I did just that. I did what the doctors had told me; rest, try to relax - do things that light me up.
I took up painting for pleasure… I walked in nature, and retreated from the world, to heal myself.

Cornwall Cast is CLOSING DOWN. 😭
My’baby’ …my business, that was just starting to take off, has been closed down.
Everything I worked for, over came and built, has to come to an end - for me.

Anyone interested is taking it forward, building it up into the great ♻️ business it could be? ♻️♻️♻️
This is a CIRCULAR ECONOMY business, everything was used, and reused.
The machinery, industrial shredder, compressor, angle grinders, moulds, mining waste, domestic plastic waste (separated into tubs of colours), Frames, and boards, foam for formers, pigments & colours, plaster, etc - everything to go £10,000

Penryn Campus - 3rd March 2022 4.30pm onwards for the St Piran’s Day celebrations.
Feeling excited 😃

…I do this easily and willingly
…I am confident
…I speak clearly
…this is exciting
…this is good for my business
…I am enough
…I can do this
…people want to hear my story
…I want to inspire others
…I can talk fluently about my work
…I can explain with clarity what I do
…I can do this
…only I can do this!

This is how I am choosing to talk to myself, in my head …positively, kindly and to cultivate self belief. Do you do this too?

Extremely stressful time. I have to find a new workshop to continue recycling plastic waste and making signs and memorials, as I had planned
…due to no fault of my own 😖
Must be with 10 miles of Constantine max.

Old barn, farm buildings, workshops, redundant building… ???
Anything considered.

Please ask your friends and family if they know of anyone with space, land to put workshop on, or even a barn …there must be some place for me to continue making
