So I'm back to work. 🥳
Sorry I've been so quiet on this page. I was supposed to be returning in October. But Liam and I had a car accident. And it set us back by about 9 weeks 🙈 Jaxon has taken a little longer than we expected to settle into the childminders. But he's getting much better, so I'm happy to come back to work. I won't be doing a full day as we are upping his hours slowly. I plan on working mondays and fridays 9.15am-3pm at the moment. Unfortunately i wont be able to take any new clients. And i will be trying to keep as close to falmouth as possible as thats where my childcare is. I'm trying to limit my driving around so i can fit more people in the diary So if anyone wants to get booked in, give me a shout. And i will reply as quickly as i can 😊

I thought i would do a post on here to let everyone know that the baby has arrived, he took his time.. 🤎
Jaxon was born 2.3.21 weighing 10lb 5oz.
So i will now be on Maternity leave from work, I haven't yet arranged a return date But i will keep everyone updated.

Just a little message to all of my clients.
I will be returning to work on 2nd December.

The same rule applies with all appointments being singular appointments, unfortunately still no group appointments. Sorry about this. But i need to keep contact to a minimum, and obviously i will still need clients to wear a mask. And if anyone has any symptoms at all (or anyone in your household) i would appreciate it if you could cancel your appointment. I'm having to be extra careful being in the third trimester of pregnancy.

Unfortunately i have no free slots to get anyone else in the Diary before i go off on maternity leave. Its been crazy trying to get everyone booked back into an already fully booked month. And I'm truly sorry i if i couldn't get you in the diary before i finish. Thankyou to everyone for being so patient. 🤎

So unfortunately due to another lockdown. I will have to stop working from 5th November until 2nd December. I will be in touch with everyone thats booked in with me, i will go through my diary later this evening. I am fully booked for Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, so i won't be able to move any appointments forward. Or book anyone else in. So sorry to anyone that has an appointment booked in November and Hopefully i shall see you all in December. 🖤

Sooo good news.. I'm sure you have all heard that hairdressers can re-open from the 4th July!... And it includes Mobile hairdressers 🎉

I will be working through my list of clients fairly. Those that were cancelled at the beginning of lockdown will be booked in first and I will make my way through the diary.

But I will be working through my list before I book any new appointments/clients in. If you want to be added to a waiting list.. Let me know 🖤 but I promise I will be in touch with everyone that had an appointment cancelled.

I will be following all guidelines from the government. It will have to be singular household appointments. So no group appointments unfortunately. As the ruling is just one other household in your house. I have ordered a digital thermometer. So will take mine and the clients temperature before the appointment. Just so you can see I'm ok too 😊 and a portable uv sanitiser.. So i can sanitise all of my equipment before I get to you and on arrival so you can see everything is clean.

I have got lots of disposable gowns, gloves and masks if you don't already have your own. I'm sure most people already do 😷. And plenty of hand sanitiser. I will ask you to wear gloves and a mask while I'm there.

I ask that if anyone has any symptoms to please be honest and cancel their appointment. It's not worth me risking passing anything on to anyone.

I also won't be doing dry cuts. I ask that clients can wash their hair before i arrive so their hair is nice and clean ready to be cut 💇

I think that just about covers everything. 😂 Looking forward to getting back to doing some hair!

I'm going to be busy tomorrow sorting stock and all of my PPE. So will start texting and calling around to get everyone booked in on Thursday and Friday. If you don't hear from me just send me a little message if you want to be booked in or popped on the waiting list 🖤 speak to you all soon!

So unfortunately its looking like hairdressers won't be back to work until 4th july. I will be contacting everybody i provisionally booked in for june.
At the moment I'm not going to rebook people until i know there is a definite date that i can get back to work. As soon as i know i will then make my way through the list and get everyone booked in as quickly as i can. I know you will all be desperate to have your hair done 😊😊 I'm going to be a busy bee 🐝

I feel so sad to have to do this but as you are all aware of whats happening around the world at the moment and right on our doorstep. I have taken the decision to stop working for now. Until covid-19 starts to slow down.
With hairdressing I'm in very close contact with the client and it can be for a while on longer appointments.
The problem is you can have covid-19 without showing symptoms. So i dont know if I'm carrying it, and the same for my client. So its just not worth the risk.
I am truly sorry to all of my clients that have booked appointments. But after the government announcement on friday asking people to stay home to prevent the spread of infection. And to keep two metres apart, its not something i can do with my job. I feel its best that i stop working.
I hope to be back to work as soon as possible. And i will be in contact with everyone that has an appointment to let them know. And as soon as I'm able to take appointments again i will be in contact.
