💚Quality Sleep
💤 Prioritise Sleep. Never underestimate the power of a good night's sleep. To improve your sleep:
Consistent Schedule: Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day.
Relax Before Bed: Try reading or a warm bath.
Create a Restful Environment: Ensure your bedroom is dark, quiet, and cool.
How many hours of sleep do you get each night?"

Good morning lovelies

I have continued with my working weekends OFF!!

Very difficult for me to do but am massively feeling the benefit… do you find yourself thinking/doing work at the weekend…. Can you manage not too?? It’s honestly like a little holiday😂

Ok so how about a mini challenge.

For the next 7 days at bedtime… write down 3 things that you are grateful to have in your life in that day.

It can be anything that makes you feel all aggghhhh # #

Absolutely love this
How are we all doing this week.
What’s your win of the week?
Mine is having a cracking productive day at work xx

Just found this great way of identifying and understanding how we are feeling x

What do you think? Would this work for you

You can’t go wrong with a bit of advice from Kermit!!
But he kinda has a point
Music is such a mood lifter 😂😂
So how are we doing with the goals we set for ourselves ?

Are they becoming a bit more ingrained or have they slipped into a distant memory?

Can you restart what’s slipped or are you feeling strong and confident?

Do you feel blue sometimes? Me too. When I do, I remind myself that blue is just another color of the rainbow. Then, I start humming "Rainbow Connection." Hard to stay blue when you're singing that song. Try it for yourself!

So this weekend I set some big boundaries and had a social media break… I was feeling overwhelmed, tired, teasy and just needed a bit of peace ☮️…

I could feel my mental health suffering as I tried to juggle all that life is demanding at the moment.

Taking a little bit of time out is not selfish, it’s not ignoring people, it’s not rude…

Are you able to recognise when you need to set some boundaries. Taking a little pit stop and allowing yourself a reset, means you can then pick yourself up and get back on track

Just checking in xx

Hey beauts 28/75

With stress being a theme
For this week it can be really easy to feel bogged down with emotions and feel like we are in a black hole of stress.
Stress is inevitable in our modern lives, we are never away from social media, emails, text messages…..
Our parents generation and those before them suffered much less daily stress for the very simple reason they didn’t have the same pressure we face in this modern era.
For our parents, and I can remember a time when you only phoned somebody if you really had to, and certainly NEVER after 9pm
My parents left work by 530pm and had to do any work in the evening or weekends.
Contact with school friends ended by 6pm each evening as we had to be at home or at our clubs
A totally different world!!
But a world in which we can turn off the external stresses if we choose.
Limiting social media time, learning to turn that laptop
OFF, setting boundaries within our work roles that respect our mental health.
We need to be brave and speak up when these external
Pressures get too much.
Have you ever managed to be brave enough to say NO, that’s enough now… or is this something you need to say ?

27/01/2025

Oh hey!!!!
Day 27:75…..
This week I thought we would focus on stress, what stresses you, how do you relieve/avoid it… how to reduce the anticipation of a stressful situation you may have coming up

So let me know what’s your coping mechanism and let’s see if we can support each other to find some more ways of making life a little easier

Hello lovelies
I am late posting today as I have been to a funeral of a lovely friend who I used to be a PA for, then we became close friends.
But a change of job and both having busy life’s meant we didn’t see each other as much to just sit and chat. We would try and get time together but chat mainly over text and little catch ups at a dance class I run and she would attend.
You always think you have time, change plans for next week, catch ya soon!!
It when we did catch up , it was always like we had only just spoken yesterday.

The best thing (if many things about our friendship) was we were both a sounding board for the other, no judgement, no advice offered just a pleasure to sit and shoot the breeze.

So although we are working towards a goal, a new way of being, never stop finding the time to grow friendship 💚

Happy day 23/75 xx Wow nearly 1/3 of the way already.

This plant, We call it the Boiled Egg plant, it’s probably not called that but that’s by-the-by, it is growing beautiful in the garden of the house I work in.
But we didn’t plant it….it wasn’t there 2 years ago….
It just appeared a year ago, pushing up happily through the soil. We have a bird table fairly near by so we think the seed must of be deposited via a bird poop….
We never planted it, of fed it, or kept it w**d free….it just took the opportunity to grow and that’s just what it’s done 💚

I guess this stunning plant is showing us now matter where you land in life it’s YOUR choice to thrive xx

Signs You're Stuck in a Rut
If you're stuck in a rut, you may not even notice at first as these feelings often build slowly over time. You might follow your same routines day after day, only to one day realize that it feels less like you are working toward something and more like you're just killing time.

Here are some signs that suggest you might be stuck in a rut:

Every day seems the same. You might even have trouble remembering what day of the week it is. Is it Monday, or is it Friday? It doesn’t matter because your days feel indistinguishable from one another.
You feel like you're just trying to get through another day. Your goal is to keep putting one foot ahead of the other until the day is done. You don't feel excited or inspired.
You feel unmotivated. You might want to take on new projects or engage in creative tasks, but it feels like your motivation has run dry. You just can't seem to get started.3
You feel unfulfilled. Life feels dull and boring. You want to try new things, but you don't know where to begin.
You want to change, but fear discomfort. You know that changing things up will make you happier in the long run but stick with the status quo because it means you don't have to risk failure

How to Get Out of a Rut

Change Your Routine
It's hard to move forward or branch out if you're engaged in the same routines day after day. People are creatures of habit and sometimes being stuck stems from boredom or feeling like you're on auto-pilot.10

Look for ways to add different experiences to your day, such as:

Strike up a conversation. Talking to new people is a great way to expand your social connections. Plus, you will learn interesting things about the people around you.
Have some fun. Spending time engaged in an activity you love is good for your health.11 Whether it's hanging out with friends or pursuing a hobby, set aside time each week and focus your energy on having a good time.
Try something new. Take a new route to work, watch a new show, or sign up for a class. Exploring the world around you can add zest to your life.
Be spontaneous. If you're bored with your life, live in the moment. Do things that are not pre-planned, say yes to new experiences, and don't be afraid to do the unexpected
