Avid photographer, diet coke lover, someone who shares their name with a fashion mag… the list goes on. Where do I begin? I’ve pursued various interests throughout my life on the quest for my dream career. I first started out as a Geography teacher, a job which allowed me to share my love for all things travel - I definitely caught the travel bug and have visited 100 countries now and counting. I’m always on the lookout for unexplored territory and even spent an unforgettable six years living in Dubai. Since returning to the UK, I’ve been working as a Travel Consultant, but I couldn’t ignore the other passion in my life: makeup. I just love the sheer creativity behind it and the confidence it can bring! I began my makeup journey by training with the wonderful Birute Thomas (National Winner of the 2019 Wedding Industry Awards), who taught me that it's the small details that make all the difference - from colour choices to lash application and blending techniques. I’ve since developed a know-how for corrective makeup techniques and finding the perfect set of “wow-factor” colours to harmonise with the skin tone, eye colour and hair colour of my clients. Birute continues to be my inspiration and mentor; it’s thanks to her encouragement that I’m now following my dream. From there, the rest is history! I love the buzz and excitement on the morning of a wedding. As someone who is obsessed with flawless, natural-looking makeup, I’ll strive to make you as beautiful and comfortable as possible while still looking like yourself. I firmly believe in using makeup that enhances your best features rather than masking them. I also tap into my love of photography, and enjoy bringing looks to life through the lens. The best thing about my job? Seeing client’s reactions to their makeup, which always makes my day! So, if you’re in need of a makeup artist who truly ‘gets’ you, with the ability to make you look and feel your absolute best, look no further. You’ll be in the safest of hands with me! Based in Hill Head (Fareham), I travel to all sorts of events within the Hampshire region, as well as beyond to Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Dorset.
