My client attended with concerns of very subtle migration from previous lip filler. While the migration was minimal, we made the clinical decision to dissolve and allow a full reset before rebuilding.

Once fully dissolved and healed, we began rebuilding the lips using the Russian technique, focusing on vertical height, structure, and definition rather than excessive forward projection.

As you can see, the upper lip naturally lacks volume and presents as thinner, which we will be addressing through a staged approach. Final results will develop over multiple sessions as we build structure gradually and safely🤍

Hayfever steroid injections are being offered more frequently in aesthetic and private settings, but they are not a first-line or routinely recommended treatment for seasonal allergies in the UK.

These are corticosteroids - powerful prescription medications used to treat significant inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. They are not equivalent to antihistamines, and they are not a “quick fix” for hayfever.

While some people may feel short-term relief, systemic steroids come with real risks, especially when used outside clear medical indications or repeated seasonally.

As a clinician, I believe in informed consent, evidence-based treatment, and understanding exactly what you’re putting into your body, not shortcuts driven by trends.

If something sounds too easy for a complex condition, it’s worth asking more questions.

Case Study: Scar Revision Journey 👃✨

5 months of consistent scar management and tissue regeneration, and the progress speaks for itself.

My clients sutures were removed back in January following trauma to the nasal area, and since then our focus has been on: Reducing redness, Improving texture, Flattening hypertrophic scar tissue and Supporting healthy collagen remodelling

Our treatment plan included:

▫️ Consistent firm scar massage to help soften adhesions and improve tissue mobility

Scar healing is a process - not an overnight fix. The skin can continue remodelling for 12–18 months after injury, which is why early intervention, consistency and the correct treatment approach make such a difference.

Polynucleotides work by encouraging fibroblast activity and tissue repair, making them particularly useful in scar management where we want healthier, more organised collagen production rather than thickened scar tissue🧬
