Alker Studio is a calm, welcoming space where hairdressing and holistic wellbeing come together, creating time for you to slow down, reconnect and truly be cared for.

I offer female-only private one-to-one appointments, low-maintenance colour, all cutting services, event, prom and wedding hair, alongside Reiki, acupressure, one-to-one yoga coaching and holistic lifestyle consultations.

Every part of the studio has been created with purpose. My holistic hair treatments and Dosha Balancing Massage are inspired by both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic wisdom, working with the Elements and the changing Seasons to support balance, restoration and overall wellbeing.

I am so excited to be collaborating with Caroline from Soap. Her beautiful shampoo and conditioning bars are now available to use and purchase in the studio. They are, without doubt, the best I have ever found, and perfectly complement my ethos of caring for both our bodies and the environment.

I am also delighted to be collaborating with the incredibly talented Sarah MaySarah May of SMArtist Jewellery by SMArtist. Sarah will be creating seasonal jewellery collections inspired by the Elements and Traditional Chinese Medicine, thoughtfully paired with my holistic treatments to offer guests a meaningful keepsake that continues supporting their wellbeing long after they leave the studio.

Sarah will also be showcasing her artwork on the studio walls, and she is currently creating a very special piece especially for Alker Studio. I cannot wait to see it come to life.

Another exciting addition is my personalised essential oil blending. Each blend is thoughtfully selected to complement your individual needs, supporting your treatment and creating a deeper sensory experience that you can continue to enjoy beyond your appointment. Sarah has the perfect pairing to elevate the way you may use my blends.

And finally... the tea station is ready. Every tea has been chosen with intention, supporting both the Dosha Balancing Massage and your overall wellbeing, adding another purposeful layer of personalised self-care to your visit.

I have been using Caroline's 100% natural soap bars for years, ever since discovering her at a Hampshire garden show. I have tried many handmade soaps, and these remain one of my favourites.

When I heard she also made naturally derived shampoo and conditioner bars, I was keen to try them. Previous shampoo bars always left my hair feeling coated and needed regular vinegar rinses — not these. They've been a genuine game changer.
