The reason for this being a long post is, I wanted to create a post to try and capture the essence of what I offer @ Alker Studio.

I am Claire The Hair Chef I opened Alker Studio May 2025 where I was warmly welcomed into the Wickham community.

The intention is to deliver more of a private, conscious space, with a spa feel and holistic experience for your hair appointments, along with the added holistic services I offer compared to the usual salon menu.

I am a hybrid of hairdresser, yoga teacher, acupressure & reiki practitioner. I needed a space to offer all my services, so Alker Studio was created, a hybrid of Salon, Studio and Spa.

Alker Studio is a beautiful 1-2-1 private space, tucked away in Wickham village. We are a female only & appointment only Studio.

Here we offer:
● Event Hair Styling - Prom/Wedding/Special occasion - You have the full studio to yourself, your Playlist can be personalised, it is a comfortable and spacious room for you to bring family and friends to share your special day.
● low Maintenance, Vegan Colour services - Designed to save you money & salon visits while still feeling fresh. Consultation is key before booking to ensure correct service choices.
● Money Saving - Bundle Bookings & Block Bookings - There are multiple Bundle and Block Bookings available, please see Instagram page or booking system for full range. These are designed to give loyalty discount without the need for the card and stamp system, that, lets face it, we all lose from time to time
● Cutting Services - designed for your specific thickness and length - to ensure the correct amount of time booked for those that need extra with no hidden charges
● Holistic Services - Dosha Balancing Fusion Massage & Hair Treatment - Reiki - Acupressure - All designed to bring balance and relaxation to your entire being
● Offer of silent appointments - for those that need some peace during their service
