SALON CLOSURE

I am utterly devastated to be announcing the sad news that as of immediate effect Vip hair & beauty studio has now permanently closed.

After 12 and a half years we have built an excellent reputation and incredible loyalty from our clients which we are extremely grateful for.

The challenges that the business has faced during this time have been immense, one of them being the covid pandemic which thankfully we managed to overcome and my personal journey of ill health which led to more struggles for myself, the team and the business.

Sadly with the rapid change in the hairdressing industry it has been increasingly difficult to recruit staff, and now the business has reached a critical point where it simply can’t sustain itself, therefore we can no longer afford the overheads going forward.
As the company has gone into liquidation things have escalated quickly meaning we haven’t been able to inform our clients of this news until now which has been very upsetting, so I sincerely apologise for anyone who has future appointments.

I know that this news will be a complete shock for most of you and I can’t tell you how emotional it has been.

A final message to my wonderful girls, my team, my sidekicks, my constant, Paige, Hannah and Tasha that have stayed loyal to the very end, thank you for giving me some lovely memories, ones that I will cherish forever. Your constant dedication and commitment to me and the business has been truly humbling, and I will never forget your unwavering support when I needed you the most.

I have decided to return to my roots going solo again in the beauty field for a more unstressed lifestyle 😌 as I think I am ready now.

�We are seeking a talented and experienced Salon Manager to join our team at Vip Hair & Beauty Studio in Faringdon, Oxfordshire. As a Salon Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the salon, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing a team of skilled professionals. If you have a passion for the hair industry and possess strong leadership skills, we would love to hear from you.
You must have excellent communication skills, and be a good team player.�NVQ level 2 & 3 is essential with at least 2/3 years salon experience.
Responsibilities:�- Manage and supervise the hair team.�- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to help to enhance their skills�- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving any issues that may arise�- Manage daily operations of the salon, to include the monitoring and ordering of stock.�- Collaborate with stylists to create a positive and productive work environment�- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to provide innovative services to clients�- Handle any customer complaints or escalations in a professional manner�- Implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
Skills:�- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and staff�- Proficient in all aspects of hairdressing and front desk operations.�- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients�- Proven experience in mentoring and developing team members�- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage schedules, inventory, and salon operations effectively

We are looking for a Senior Stylist to join our fun and super friendly team. Our salon is based between of Swindon & Oxford.
Our 12 year establishment in the area has gained us a fantastic customer loyalty and highly regarded reputation.
We are looking for somebody who is professional, and highly committed to the hair industry. You must have good communication skills and be able to give our clients outstanding service. We are a busy salon with a small team, so you must have the ability to work under pressure and show initiative.
You must be qualified NVQ Level 2 & 3 standard and have at least 2 years qualifying salon floor experience. You should have a strong passion for colouring and be knowledgeable in all of the latest trends and techniques.
