🖤 SAYING GOODBYE TO 30+ YEARS OF BLACK BOX DYE! 🤎

My lovely client has been coming to me mainly for haircuts, but after more than 30 years of colouring her hair black at home, she finally decided it was time for a change!

She was ready to say goodbye to the black and start moving towards a beautiful brown shade, but most importantly, she wanted to do it professionally while keeping her hair in the best possible condition. 🤎

And just look at the result after ONE appointment! ✨

As expected, the ends contained the most built-up black pigment, so we naturally ended up with a subtle colour graduation through the hair. However, one of the things we were most pleased with was that we achieved a beautiful, even brown result without patchiness.

This is not yet the final colour — over the next appointments, we will gradually work towards a slightly lighter and cooler brown that is closer to her goal. ✨

But when hair has had 30+ years of black box dye, it is so important to understand that a transformation like this cannot safely be achieved in one appointment while also maintaining the health and integrity of the hair.

We kept the top longer and textured for plenty of movement and styling options, while creating a neat, tapered finish around the sides and back. A perfect balance between smart, modern and effortlessly cool. 🤎

✨ A BIG HAIR TRANSFORMATION ✨

I’m so excited to share this beautiful transformation with you! 🤎

My lovely new client came to me with very long, very thick hair and years of at-home box dye. Her natural regrowth was around 50% grey, and she was ready for a complete refresh and a fresh new look.

We took a good amount of length off and also softened and thinned the hair to make it lighter, more manageable and beautifully shaped.

For the colour, she wanted a deep, rich and intense chocolate brown — and I absolutely loved creating this for her! 🍫🤎

To keep the colour from looking too flat, we added some slightly lighter pieces throughout the hair. I created a second complementary shade for these sections and used a freehand technique to beautifully blend the two colours together, creating dimension and a softer, more natural-looking finish.

The result is a rich, glossy brunette with beautiful depth and movement. 🤎✨

And most importantly… my client absolutely loved it! 🥰
We’ve already chatted about her next appointment, so I’m very happy to be continuing her hair journey with her.

✨ A beautiful transformation for my lovely returning client! ✨

This was her second appointment with me, and I’m so pleased with the result! 🤎

At her first appointment, we transformed her long, shapeless hair into a beautiful mid-length bob with a soft, seamless transition.

This time, we focused on creating a beautiful, natural-looking colour. Her natural hair was very white through the front and more salt & pepper towards the back, and she wanted to bring the two tones together and create a more even, warm and flattering colour.

During our consultation, we discussed that to balance the very light front with the darker salt & pepper areas at the back, the overall colour would need to be slightly deeper.

The result is a soft, warm and natural colour that beautifully blends everything together — and most importantly, she absolutely loved it! 🤎✨

She has already booked her next appointment before Christmas, as my existing clients are starting to secure their appointments for the rest of the year. 🎄

✂️ Another fresh haircut!

My lovely client wanted to refresh her hair while keeping as much length as possible. She wanted a soft V-shaped finish, no straight lines, and some beautiful layers for movement and shape.

As it had been a while since her last haircut, we took off a good amount to freshen everything up while still keeping the length she loved. 💇‍♀️✨
She was absolutely happy with the result! ❤️
